Saturday mornings in Havelock North have their own little magic

Meet Cleo, the beautiful black-and-tan cavalier king charles spaniel, and Henry, a young man with the brightest smile. Every weekend, Cleo trots through the village square with one mission: to find her favourite person.

The moment she hears Henry’s voice, her tail turns into a blur, and she races across the crowd straight to him. Henry laughs every time “Cleo, you’re so naughty! "As she showers him with kisses and snuggles into him.

Sometimes, the best friendships don’t need words, they just need a wagging tail and a warm smile. 🐾💕

The Learning Hub students enjoyed a quiz and shared lunch to celebrate the end of year.

Congratulations to Francesca Morgan on your top ten-pin bowling results from the Special Olympic National Summer Games in Christchurch. We loved celebrating your gold medal at The Learning Hub yesterday. Well done, this is a wonderful achievement.

Hawke’s Bay athletes returned home with a total of 30 medals across six sports, after five days of competition. There were more than 1,200 athletes competing from across New Zealand.
