Mia enjoyed visiting The Farmhouse in Havelock North and chose sunflowers to take home 🌻
The sunflower season at The Farmhouse has ended now but local places like this are a great way for you and your family to enjoy open space, the warmth of summer, and the sounds of people around you. Moving between the plants is a different sensory experience.

There is a lot to explore in everyday places. What is your favourite outdoor experience so far this Summer?

Every Thursday, something wonderful happens in our Enliven home when Scarlett arrives 🐶
Margaret always looks forward to her visit, and Scarlett, our beautiful therapy dog from Canine Friends, brings calm, comfort, and lots of smiles with her cuddles (and a cheeky love of snacks!).
At Enliven, supporting good lives sometimes comes with four paws and a very kind heart. Thank you, Scarlett, for making Thursdays so wonderful 🐾

Meet and Greet with Leah, Enliven Community Navigator
Leah is motivated every day by the people we support — their positivity, resilience, and the way they face life’s challenges. They’ve inspired her to grow, not just at work, but in her own life too.
Leah lives by this:
“Use the gifts you’re given every day and never take your situation for granted.”

🐝 Another great day to remember!
We visited to see the bees and taste all the delicious honey—free entry included!
The visitor centre is super accessible with ramps around the grounds. If you need any assistance, just ask Nat, Meg, and the team are always happy to help.
Accessible paths that work for everyone, friendly team, and heaps of honey—what’s not to love?

A perfect weekend for a Bay to Remember.

Making the most of a beautiful sunny day, our team enjoyed time together in the sunshine, creating fun and memorable moments in Hawke’s Bay.

It’s great to see more accessible options becoming available in our community. , if you need extra support, a Mobi Chair is now available to help people safely enter and exit the water at the Lazy River and Pirate Pool using accessible ramps. Support is available on site, helping make days out easier and more enjoyable for everyone.
