Monday Yoga is back!!
Starting 11 May through 29 June
10-11:30am
St Andrew's Hall in Hokitika
I love these wee KNITTED! cacti that were at our holiday house on Ōkārito. To me these little beauties embody Patanjali's yoga sutra 2.46, "sthira sukham asanam".
Sthira- meaning steady and strong
Sukham - meaning comfortable and easy
Asanam - posture, pose or seat
The knitted cacti represent a hard prickly plant but in a soft and inviting way. Existing simultaneously just like steadiness, strength and effort are balanced with comfort and ease in a yoga/life practice 🕉️.
For more strange and insightful (?🤔) musings, see you on Monday!
