Just wanted to give an update:
As you know I relocated Korimako House to Gala Street over a year ago now It is currently only me working out of there. I have an apprentice lined up to work with me soon. I have been pretty much on the road the last couple of months but things have settled a bit now competitve shearing season has ended.
The dream of Korimako house was to be a place where we offered well being services that are professional. That we are helping demystify holistic health and well being in our community. A place of support for small businesses to launch from. That we are available to community and that we offer education and training as well as support for each other. It has taken some turns and twists but heading in the right direction again now.
It has been an incredible learning journey and the lessons have been strong and powerful. I am very grateful for the wonderful support that had been shown. To be fair we are not everyone’s cup of tea and there has been some scathing comments, however each to their own and everyone is allowed their own opinion. We all have our own Learned and lived experiences that determine our view of the world and that is ok.
When you try and do everything in your life both professionally and personally with aroha and good intention not everyone likes it. Basing everything on what is good for the collective is hard to understand for those who are individualised.
Just know there is no ill intention, taking down of others, jealousy, or any of that yucky stuff.
The Korimako is known for its chatter. Its ability to sing in harmony with all the different birds, to be on the ground and in the air. It is also known for the sweet melody it produces and the vibrational clicks it makes in his throat. Where I come from the Korimako is known as a healing bird that arrives in support when someone is unwell. Often seen sitting outside singing and clicking. Believed to be helping with raising the vibration of the energy.
