Yesterday afternoon Pauline and I stirred the Hugo Erbe 3 Kings BD #8 preparation again for the 3rd year in beautifully energised flow form water. This preparation harmonises opposing forces and protects against adversarial forces.

We also separately stirred the Hugo Erbe #9 BD preparation for the first time, commonly put out around Michaelmas time, to acknowledge and thank all the elemental realms and beings of fire/ warmth, air/light, water/sound, and life/earth.

We both felt to combine the two in the last 10 minutes of the hour long stir.
Interestingly the endless grey clouds cleared over the house within 30 minutes. This morning the plants are very upright with exceptional energetic growth overnight. While in their ascending moon phase anyway their connectedness to the Earth also seems enhanced .
Will observe in the next few months what happens. Blessings to all beings ⭐️💖🙏🌻🌿🍑🥦🌽🌈💦🔥💫🌏🌥️🌝🍄🦜🐋🐞🦋🐝

Yarrow has helped many as a first-aid plant for hundreds, if not thousands, of years of human existence. In a similar fashion, Yarrow provides a helpful, healing, strengthening impact for crops.

Yarrow has a strong sulphur component, similar to Chamomile and Stinging Nettle, and as such allows potassium to “convert” nitrogen. When used in biodynamic gardening to treat compost it enhances the plant’s ability to utilise potassium to help it create nitrogenous substances, such as proteins, micronutrients, and to strengthen the plant by drawing in substances finely distributed in the atmosphere and beyond to replenish soil grown tired through many years of cultivation.

When this is used in conjunction with the other preparations for compost production, we get all the various relationships working properly and ultimately this is applied to the soils. Our 'Compost Preparations 1 Set' includes Yarrow, Chamomile, Stinging Nettle, Oak Bark, Valerian and Dandelion preps which all work well together.

Biodynamic yarrow prep takes a whole year to make, including months in both the sunshine and underground - the passing of an entire year allows the flowers to gain the earthly and cosmic influences of the seasons. If you can't wait that long however, you can buy in our online shop here - https://bit.ly/3Ec9rah

"Peppering Pests"
For those wanting to learn how to "Pepper’ (Ash) pests the Biodynamic way, this workshop with Peter Bacchus will be well worth attending in Mangawhai in December 2020.
Date to be finalised as possible dates 12/13th or 19/20th Dec.

At present the 18th and 19th is looking like the winner….but better perhaps to do the weekend before 12th/13th to catch the last of ascending moon phase, prior to the Solar Eclipse on the 15th, if possible. I will need payment and committment from at least 10 people to have this workshop go ahead. Please let me know who can make which weekend asap.

"Small Pest Animal Management" from a Biodynamic perspective” - Rats, Possums, Mustelids, Rabbits, etc.

Saturday 7pm - 8.30pm Talk, and Sunday 9.30am -3.30pm Practical Workshop, with experienced Biodynamic farmer and practitioner Peter Bacchus now in his 80’s. Bring lunch and a container take home some “ashes” for your place. Gathering will be at Pauline’s 28 Molesworth Dr and/or perhaps Taonga Gardens ….CJ and Marion? TBC?

We will need approx 20 -30 male skins or whole male bodies ...if like me you’re not up to skinning animals…..Please start collecting them and put in the freezer till the workshop. If you cant attend but know people who trap possums etc and can get some males for us then please let me know.

The skins are burned when Venus the planet of the feminine, beauty, lush growth, (and also the Moon is in it’s last quarter for controlling fertility), is in front of the constellation…(not Zodiac) sign of Scorpio…sexuality, reproduction, death, transformation, etc.
The ash is then stirred and scattered around the periphery of your property and has been very successful at keeping rodents, possums, etc at bay for several years after. Usually has to be repeated at certain intervals as Peter will explain, but a far more humane way of managing pests than 1080 and even trapping.

Obviously this needs to be done very consciously as we are affecting the natural rhythms and balance of Nature, and therefore peppering is not done lightly. Usually it is done because there is a strong imbalance with weeds, insects, or animals “out of control”, and after taking time to try and work out the cause first, is recommended,,,...soil PH out of balance, Pukekos felling banana trees etc..

Estimated Koha:$50 -$60 pp depending on numbers.

Contact Christine to register as need minimum of 10 people to commit before this workshop goes ahead. I know it’s close to the Summer Solstice and Christmas but…this is the only time in the year to hold this workshop as most people are away early Jan.

Please express your interest by November 20th 2020. I will send you my bank account details.
