Passed away peacefully at home with Gail and Kerry where he wanted to be aged 88 years.
Adored & Adoring husband and best mate (most of the time) to Gail. Adored Father of Kim and Charlie Karena(Deceased 18.7.2025), Leigh and Pete Grattan, Toni East, Kerry and David. Grandfather of wonderful grandchildren who often referred to him as their national treasure. Also a bonus of great grandchildren who he was so proud of. Extra bonus Faye, our great great granddaughter. A private cremation has taken place as per Brian's wishes.

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Brian will be held at Scotts Funeral Home on Saturday 26th July at 1pm.

He was ours and we loved him dearly.

A service to celebrate Lena's life will be held at Cornerstone - Whare Karakia o Manako on 1pm Friday 9th May 2025 followed by burial at Kerikeri Cemetery.

Passed away peacefully in Kerikeri on Saturday 12 April 2025, aged 94.
Dearly loved wife of the late Stewart. Much loved mother of Terry and the late Sandy and mother in law of Jennifer and Peter. Treasured Nana of Blair, Abby, Georgia and Jessica and all her great grandchildren Alex, Ophelia, Sam, Ollie, Christopher, Wolver, and Wilder.
A lifelong educator, community volunteer, sports coach and administrator. Norma was deeply committed to the Northland community.
She will be greatly missed.
Special thanks to the staff of both Kawakawa Hospital and Oakridge Village Care Facility, who supported Norma with great care in the final weeks of her life.

A celebration of Norma’s life will be held on Tuesday 22 April 2025 at Cornerstone Church (144 Kerikeri Road, Kerikeri) at 11.00am followed by an internment at the Kaikohe Public Cemetery.

TURNER, Mary Patricia (Pat).

Of Kerikeri, born in Wellington 6 April 1935, passed away peacefully on Thursday 12 December 2024.

Pat was predeceased by her husband of 68 years, Douglas Allan Turner Q.S.M (Tippy).
Her parents William and Doris Bowie of Kaikohe and her sister Margaret Hooper of Carterton.
She is survived by her children and their partners, Susan and Harold Corbett, and Mark and Nicole Turner.
Will be sadly missed by her grandchildren and their families. Ana, James, John and Harriet Dobbie. Reuben, Jessica, Thor and Caisha Corbett. Thomas, Tiffany and Osian Corbett. Paige and David Crate.

Rest in peace.

A private cremation has been held, to be followed at a later date by a memorial service.

Known as Tippy to his grandchildren, great grandchildren and their friends.

1927 - 2024

Douglas (Doug) Allan Turner of Kerikeri passed away peacefully on 30th October 2024, aged 97 years. Doug championed many community projects in his time. His finest achievement being the Turner Centre, Te Puawai, a reflection of his dedication and passion for the Arts. Kerikeri families enjoyed 35 years of movies when he turned the Cathay Cinema projectors on, no matter what, for an evening's entertainment.

He will be sadly missed.

Doug was predeceased by his parents Harold (Pop) and Elizabeth (Toots)Turner of Opua.
He is survived by his wife Patricia (Pat) Turner and his children and their partners, Susan and Harold Corbett. Mark and Nicole Turner. Fondly remembered by his grandchildren and their families, Ana, James, John and Harriet Dobbie. Reuben, Jessica, Thor and Caisha Corbett. Thomas, Tiffany and Osian Corbett. Paige and David Crate.

Born March 14, 1947. Passed away on October 13, 2024 suddenly, yet graciously at the Whangarei Hospital. Aged 77.

Dearly loved wife of Tony. Mum and mum in law of Maria and Andrew, Anthony and Nevenka, Katherleen and Dean. Baba (Grandmother) of Orlando, Antonia, Katija, Ante, Ivana, Liam, Ethan and Kaitlyn. A beloved sister, sister in law, aunty, treasured friend and mother figure to many.
