The Universal Healing Tao is a complete system of self-healing and personal development, encomapssing a variety of meditation and chi kung (energy management) techniques. The practices have been passed down in an unbroken lineage for centuries and were brought to the attention of the West in the 1970's by Master Mantak Chia. Since then thousands of people have been learning these techniques to tra
nsform their lives. The practices of the ''Universal Healing Tao' system provide a step-by-step progession of practices from beginner to advanced level, each technique building on the next. Tao means way: the way of nature and the universe, the natural way, or the path of natural reality. The way of the Tao is a process of ‘returning' to Wu Chi, the primordial all-conscious void. The practitioner consciously senses the personal chi within the body, and then the chi of Earth, nature and the Universe. We establish a relaxed, healthy base of life in our physical/social environment. At the same time, we strive to achieve spiritual independence and merge into oneness with the Wu Chi. The word Tao also refers to a way in which we can open our minds to learn more about the world, our spiritual paths, and ourselves. Sometimes the Tao is also referred to as the origin of all things, as the Source of Life, as the Wu Chi itself. Taoism, especially its internal alchemy path, is not a philosophy of mind alone, but a real practice of body, mind, and spirit. When you have the true sense of its meaning, the true knowledge and wisdom, you will be able to make the right decisions in your life.
