Universal Healing Tao New Zealand The Universal Healing Tao Qi Gong and Meditation practices in New Zealand What is the Universal Healing Tao? What is Taoism?

The Universal Healing Tao is a complete system of self-healing and personal development, encomapssing a variety of meditation and chi kung (energy management) techniques. The practices have been passed down in an unbroken lineage for centuries and were brought to the attention of the West in the 1970's by Master Mantak Chia. Since then thousands of people have been learning these techniques to transform their lives. The practices of the ''Universal Healing Tao' system provide a step-by-step progession of practices from beginner to advanced level, each technique building on the next. Tao means way: the way of nature and the universe, the natural way, or the path of natural reality. The way of the Tao is a process of โ€˜returning' to Wu Chi, the primordial all-conscious void. The practitioner consciously senses the personal chi within the body, and then the chi of Earth, nature and the Universe. We establish a relaxed, healthy base of life in our physical/social environment. At the same time, we strive to achieve spiritual independence and merge into oneness with the Wu Chi. The word Tao also refers to a way in which we can open our minds to learn more about the world, our spiritual paths, and ourselves. Sometimes the Tao is also referred to as the origin of all things, as the Source of Life, as the Wu Chi itself. Taoism, especially its internal alchemy path, is not a philosophy of mind alone, but a real practice of body, mind, and spirit. When you have the true sense of its meaning, the true knowledge and wisdom, you will be able to make the right decisions in your life.

Tree as Healer and Friend๐Ÿ’š๐ŸŒณ

Ancient Tao Masters observed that trees are tremendously powerful plants. Not only can they absorb CO2 and transform it into oxygen, but they can also absorb our negative forces and transform them into good, healing energy.

Trees are the largest and most spiritually advanced plants on Earth. They are wise, and they live very long lives. They are constantly in meditation, and subtle energy is their natural language.

Trees strongly root with the Earth, and the more rooted the tree, the higher it can extend to Heaven. Trees stand very still, absorbing the Earthโ€™s Energy and the Universal Force from the Heavens.

Upon your spiritual growth and practice, you can begin to develop a relationship with the trees. In the Tao, we call it ยซCommunion with the Treeยป.

Trees can help you open your energy channels and cultivate calm, presence, and vitality. You can reciprocate by helping them with their own blockages and devitalized areas. It is a mutually beneficial relationship that needs cultivation.

So, how can one choose a proper tree to work with?

You do not need to go far out into the forest to find an appropriate tree to work with. Trees that are used to having people around understand our energy and are actually more accessible and friendly than those far out in the wilderness.

City parks and suburban yards are filled with powerful, accessible and friendly trees that would love to have a closer relationship with you.

There is a certain size range within which trees are most accessible to human beings. When a tree is too small, it does not have enough energy to make much of an impression on you. When the tree is too big, you have the opposite problem, so it takes more persistence to get large trees to take an interest in you.

As a source of healing energy, it is best to choose a large, robust tree from within the accessible size range. For playful interaction it is best to choose a small to medium sized tree.

Among the most powerful are trees growing near running water. Some trees feel warmer or hotter than others; some feel cooler or colder than others. Practice distinguishing the varying properties of different trees.

While it is not necessary to climb the tree to develop a relationship, it does open up a whole new world. Climb gently and carefully, so as not to harm the tree.
