The New Year has arrived, and yes, we’ve been a little quiet.

That pause was intentional. Time away from screens, time with good food, deep rest, and just being present. Sometimes the most important part of the cycle is stepping back to refill the cup.

(And yes - Mika has been thoroughly enjoying pizza 🍕)

As we move into this new year, we’re easing back in with clarity and intention.

✨ Viking Spirit will be in Napier on January 10 & 11 - bringing tarot readings, ritual candles, and crafted offerings to share in person once again.

Today is Finnish Christmas Day.🎄

A day of stillness, reflection, and deep tradition.
In Finland, the celebrations happen on Christmas Eve. The 25th is reserved for rest, when joulurauha (Christmas peace) settles in. Saunas are heated, candles are lit for ancestors, and homes are filled with calm rather than noise.

This tradition carries echoes of ancient Nordic Yule and later Christian customs, a sacred pause in the darkest season, and a reminder that light always returns.

This day holds special meaning for us, as Mika was born and raised in Finland. The spirit of the North - resilience, simplicity, reverence for nature, and quiet strength that lives at the heart of Viking Spirit.

Today, we honour those roots.

I don't usually open private sessions, so I wanted to share a little more context about why this 1:1 Intuitive Intensive release exists.

This time of year carries a lot. There's the closing of one chapter, the weight of unfinished things, and the quiet awareness that something wants to shift before the year turns again.

I opened this release because I've been having the same kinds of conversations repeatedly with people who aren't looking for more information, but for space.
