The Hermit - A Ritual of Stillness 🌿

As someone born of Finnish roots, I learned that the sauna is so much more than heat and steam - it’s a sacred place of reflection. A space where the body purifies, the mind slows, and the soul begins to speak.

Out here, surrounded by forest and the sound of flowing water, I lit The Hermit Candle - a soft flame flickering by the sauna door. The air carried the scent of Smoked Whiskey Brew, grounding and rich, mingling with wood, fire, and earth.

The Hermit tarot card has always reminded me of the power in solitude - of stepping away to find wisdom in the quiet. That’s what the sauna is to me: a return to self, to simplicity, to presence.

I’m so grateful to live among these trees, to call this wild beauty home, and to share a piece of that peace through Viking Spirit.
