Hari Tau Hou Pakeha e te whanau ✨
Wishing you all a calm, grounded and nourishing start to the year ahead.
Recently, I was honoured to be part of a one-day wananga collaboration alongside some beautiful people and kaupapa. The day wove matauranga Maori, creativity and lived experience into one shared space.
🌿 Seeing the world through Rongoa – a Maori worldview
🌿 Taonga Takaro with Nathan Waitai
🌿 Raranga with Whaea Aroha Puketapu, guided by Hine-te-iwaiwa
Our tauira included rangatahi, kaimahi from Porirua and Wairarapa, and kaiako from around Te Awakairangi. It was a powerful day of learning, sharing and reconnecting with who we are and where we come from.
This is the heart of my mahi. I create and hold wananga that are shaped around the kaupapa and the people in the room — whether that is a one-day space or a longer journey alongside whanau. I work in collaboration with others, always from a Maori worldview, supporting organisations and whanau to reconnect, strengthen and move forward in ways that feel tika for them.
