those slow, sleepy breaths I never wanted to move him from 🤍

i remember sitting there thinking 'don’t move, don’t rush this, just stay'… because somehow you know, even in the moment, it won’t last forever.

now he’s bigger, busier, louder and i miss these quiet little pauses more than I thought I would.

motherhood stretches you forward, but pieces of you are always left in moments like this.

Oh… we’re walking now 🥹

I blinked and somehow we went from first cuddles to first steps… and now you’re out here crossing bridges like it’s no big deal.

A whole year of growing, changing, becoming; for both of us.
I’m so proud of you… and quietly trying to keep up at the same time.

Breastfeeding isn’t just feeding… it’s a lot.

Some nights it’s quiet and slow and kind of beautiful. Other times it’s uncomfortable, leaky, exhausting… and you’re just hoping your top isn’t soaked again.

I’m a year in and honestly, I’m still figuring it out. My body still surprises me.

I made these because I needed them 🤍
Something soft, natural, and actually comfortable on the days where everything feels a bit sensitive.

They catch the leaks… but mostly they just make it all feel a little easier.

Postpartum doesn’t end at 6 weeks… or even 6 months.

I’m 1 year postpartum, standing in the waves holding my baby and I can still feel my body changing, my hormones slowly finding their rhythm again.

Some days feel steady, others feel like a lot. Like the tide, it all comes and goes.

There’s a quiet realisation in this season… that I’m still becoming too.

Still softening, still shifting, still learning this new version of me.

To every kind of mother 🤍

The first time, you’re learning everything.
The second time, you’re holding it all...a little more grounded, a little more certain… but just as stretched.

Today, I’m sitting in the in-between.
Not the brand new mum anymore, but not quite “experienced” either.
Just… a mother, doing her best for these little humans who made me.

Motherhood looks different for all of us.
It’s messy, beautiful, exhausting, and deeply changing, sometimes all before breakfast.

However today feels for you…
celebrated, overwhelmed, grateful, grieving, or somewhere in between...
you are still a mother.
And that is enough.
