When purpose brings us together ✨
This week, our lovely People and Culture Manager Lisa had the pleasure of hosting a visit from the Union Aid Indonesia Young Leaders Programme - a Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade - funded initiative that empowers young leaders (aged 20–30) from East Indonesia working in community development, social enterprise and disability inclusion.

It was inspiring to connect and share how will&able is creating meaningful employment and impact for people with disabilities here in Aotearoa.

We love opportunities to exchange ideas and learn from emerging leaders who are driving change in their communities!

A beautiful partnership - inside and out 💄💚

Last week, our CEO Kate, along with Issy, Cleighton and Rosemarie, joined the L’Oréal team to share the social impact this partnership has on our crew and the wider community - plus some great kōrero on sustainability and our plans for the future.

The highlight? Seeing two of our L’Oréal crew, Cleighton and Rosemarie, get a behind-the-scenes look at the products they’ve packed out in the wild! Issy also joined, representing the wider will&able team (and because she’s a huge makeup fan 💄).

A huge thanks to the L’Oréal team for hosting us and for being such incredible supporters of our mission. 🌏💪

Meet our country-music-loving superstar, who’s all about the classics - especially Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton. Her all-time favourite song? The Gambler 🎶

When she’s not listening to music, Joleen loves a good game of Scrabble, chess, Pictionary or charades and keeps active with soccer and tai chi.

She can also speak a little Dutch, and is a big fan of Harry Potter, Scooby-Doo, and the TV show Charmed.
