Honoured to be invited to the opening of L’Oréal Groupe’s brand-new distribution centre in Ōtāhuhu this week along with Her Excellency Madame Laurence Beau, Ambassador of France to New Zealand, and The Right Honourable Christopher Luxon.

A huge congratulations to for achieving a 6-Star Green Star Design Certified Rating from the New Zealand Green Building Council - the first refurbishment project in NZ to reach this world-leading standard. ✨

Brave Bex 🌟
Bex has been part of the will&able team for 8 years, and while she’s a little camera shy, she wanted to share a bit about her experience living with autism:

“I can find it tricky to start conversations and feel shy with people I don’t know. I prefer calm spaces without sudden noises or thunderstorms. I love routine and knowing what each day looks like from start to finish. It helps me feel calm and focused, and I think it makes me great at my job!

Autism can present differently in females than in males, we often ‘mask’ to manage or hide our traits. I tend to go quiet around people I don’t know until I feel comfortable. Once I do, I’m loyal and protective of those around me.

I hope more people come to understand autistic traits and the things that can sometimes overwhelm us so we are better understood.”

We’re so proud to have Bex on our team - thank you for your courage and for helping others better understand autism. 💚
