Covid-19 Update:
Unfortunately due to yesterday’s announcement, support persons are unable to attend your appointment with you. We appreciate this is a difficult time for many of our patients, and if you have any concerns please don’t hesitate to email customercare@advanceultrasound.co.nz

If you have an appointment booked with us during this time the following applies:

• You will need to complete a pre-screening questionnaire THE DAY BEFORE your appointment. This is a compulsory requirement before you enter our premises. Our staff will phone you. If you haven’t heard from us, please phone.

• IMPORTANT: If you are awaiting results of a COVID-19 test we CANNOT see you and you will need to rebook.

• Patients ONLY to enter the premises
• Masks to be worn (please bring with you) mask exemptions do not apply to our premises.
• Hand sanitise upon entry
• Please scan our QR code
• Payments are by eftpos or credit card – NO cash at this time
• Please email your referral form to the location of your appointment – preferably the day before your appointment
• If you are unwell with any cold or flu-type symptoms, muscle aches and feelings of being unwell please DO NOT enter our premises – you will need to rebook

LEVEL 4 UPDATE:
A few more things to be aware of since our last post. Due to the continuing rise in locations of interest in Auckland please note the following: If you have an appointment booked with us during Level 4.
• You will need to complete a pre-screening questionnaire THE DAY BEFORE your appointment. This is a compulsory requirement before you enter our premises. If this is not completed you will not be granted entry and your appointment will need to be rescheduled or cancelled.

• IMPORTANT: If you are awaiting results of a COVID-19 test we CANNOT see you and you will need to rebook.

• Please phone us in the days leading up to your appointment to confirm we have the correct contact phone number for you. This is to ensure we can contact you in order to complete the pre-screening questionnaire and any other information we may need to convey.

• Patients ONLY to enter the premises
• Masks to be worn (please bring with you)
• Hand sanitise upon entry
• Please scan our QR code
• Payments are by eftpos or credit card – NO cash at this time

Masks are required to be worn at all times while inside, this is for both the patient and the support person, please bring your own masks with you. We understand that this may be inconvenient, particularly for our obstetric patients. This decision has been made in the best interests for patients and staff, some of whom are considered vulnerable. Great to be at level 1 for Covid-19 ☀️
We are still asking that you bring only 1 adult support person with you to your ultrasound. Unfortunately children are not able to come along with you to your appointment. We understand that this may be inconvenient, however this decision has been made in the best interests for all our patients and staff, some of whom are considered vulnerable. Preferred payment methods for your ultrasound is by Eftpos or Credit Card. Masks are not compulsory to wear, however if you would prefer to wear one please bring this with you. We continue to maintain strict hygiene protocols as with all alert levels for Covid-19. Hand sanitizing is still required on entry, and if you have any cold or flu like symptoms, please do not enter the premises , call us and we can reschedule your appointment for you. Advance Ultrasound are preparing for the transition to Covid-19 Alert Level 3 as of 12.00 lunch time Wednesday 12th August. Sadly this means only the person who is having the ultrasound is allowed inside our premises, this includes the waiting area. You will be required to wear a mask while you are in our premises and for the duration of your ultrasound. No cash payments will be taken for ultrasounds, credit card or eftpos paywave is available. Thank you Auckland, keep safe, and lets get back to level 1 as soon as we can. Well done NZ and thank you as we can now operate under Alert Level 1. As we move forward to this new phase and relax on the precautions and protocols of the past, Advance Ultrasound will continue with additional measures to minimise risk whilst inside our premises.
You are no longer required to wear a mask while attending your appointment, if however you feel more comfortable doing so please bring a mask with you. Contact tracing for your support person is no longer compulsory. You may bring 1 adult support person to your appointment. Children are not able to enter our premises unless they are having an ultrasound. If you or your support person have any cold or flu like symptoms, please contact us so that we can reschedule your appointment, please do not enter the rooms.
