Rawiri Community House is a great asset for WIRI and Rata Vibe so it was sad to hear the challenges they are going through.

I am so pleased to be able to support the Chair and Deputy Chair of the Manurewa Local Board regarding this matter and wrote my concern to Cr Daniel Newman and Cr Matt Winiata expressing my disappointment in the government agency who is responsible for this.

I also expressed my concern to our local Manurewa MP Arena Williams and also Oriini Kaipara regarding this as well. Next letter will be to Auckland Minister Simeon Brown and Housing Minister Chris Bishop asking why Kainga Ora put this community through this all the time.

Let’s see what they say about our community in South Auckland.

I had the opportunity to attend the powhiri of the new staff from the Animal Management Team for Auckland Council and was awesome to catch up with longtime friend Sjimmy and his new staff.

Attended the Pacific Seniors Association with Jai and the rest of the team as well as some of my colleagues from the Manurewa Local Board as well as Cr Daniel Newman. Was a full house and standing room only well done.
