The recent deluge has left its mark on many of us. Still, every cloud has a silver lining so I used the occasion as an opportunity to capture the rain in all its glory out in the Tararuas. While it was very wet, it was also stunningly relaxing and therapeutic for the soul.

February 2022 saw record levels of rain in many parts of NZ , including the Wairarapa. Recorded out in the Tararua Ranges on one of these wet days, here are ...

Whether you need help to sleep, wish to meditate and relax, are stuck overseas or simply miss home, here is a collection of visual & audio recordings of many of the beautiful natural and culturally significant locations around the Wairarapa to boost your well being and improve your mental health.

While there are plenty of great relaxing and therapeutic nature sound videos on the internet, the ones that have stuck out for me over the years have been those that I can relate to in some way and with which I can connect. This channel offers one significant difference - all the videos are specifically from the Wairarapa, a wonderful region in the southeast of New Zealand's North Island. A region of bush, rivers and of course the sea. Enjoy !

Hauora pai !
