Originally from Vermont, USA, I have lived in Matata for the last 10 years, other parts of NZ for over 25. I have always been passionate about natural health and daily movement. My love of essential oils grew to a passion for holistic aromatherapy, which then led me to more bodywork. Now I am a Registered Massage Therapist and offer customised relaxation treatments and targeted deeper massage for

those who need it from my clinic in Matata. Intuitively incorporated into my practice is also the use of sound therapy and vibration with tuning forks, singing bowls and chimes. Having been a student of yoga and pilates for nearly 30 years, I have always valued the mind, body connections and the benefits of breath-work and daily movement. The opportunity to train in AntiGravity Fitness and share the experience of using the hammock to support deep stretching, strength training and lots of fun, was a dream come true for me. I now welcome you to my outdoor covered deck to enjoy fresh air and exercise in this casual environment. I look forward to working with you to support your body and mind to feel stronger, more flexible, healthier and happier soon!

If you know you know…. This stretch feels amazing in a low hammock or a high hammock.

This is what your lower back has been asking for.

The hammock does the work. Your body just lets go.

There is a simple meditation practice that can be incredibly powerful when you are feeling hurt, overwhelmed, stuck, or wanting to let go.

It comes from the Hawaiian practice of Ho‘oponopono and uses just four phrases:

“I’m sorry.
I forgive you.
Thank you.
I love you.”

You can repeat these words quietly to yourself, to another person in your heart, or to a situation you are struggling with.

“I’m sorry” helps us acknowledge pain or disconnection.
“I forgive you” allows us to soften, release blame, and create space for healing.
“Thank you” brings us back to gratitude.
“I love you” returns us to compassion and connection.

Sit quietly, place a hand on your heart, breathe slowly, and repeat the words for a few minutes. You may be surprised how much can shift when you give yourself permission to soften.

Healing does not always begin with finding the answer. Sometimes it begins with four simple words. ✨
