Hi, I’m Lacey — a Registered Cosmetic Nurse with 10+ years’ experience. Book your consultation at www.luminousskin.nz 💛 Lacey
I offer cosmetic injectables & advanced skin treatments across Nelson, Richmond, Motueka & Blenheim. Hi, I’m Lacey and I have been working in health care for over 20 years, with many of those years working with pediatric patients and their families. In 2015 I moved to cosmetic medicine, attending national training events hosted by both doctors and nurses. Gaining experience in varying techniques for safe and effective product placement. After finishing my Bachelor in Health Science, I completed a post-graduate certification in advanced nursing assessment whilst working at Waikato hospital. I have worked in pediatric nursing for 10 years and after having 2 children I decided to specialise in appearance medicine. I have attended numerous training courses for laser skin rejuvenation, anti-wrinkle treatments, dermal fillers, and collagen biostimulators. I have completed my accreditation with CANN (cosmetic appearance nurses network), and keep up to date with professional development, attending conferences nationally. "I enjoy these learning opportunities as they expand my knowledge, technical skills, and safest approaches enabling me to deliver great results". I am here to help you achieve your best skin and restore a refreshed and natural look to your appearance without looking overdone or like you’ve had ‘treatment’ at all. I offer a no-obligation complimentary consultation at your chosen clinic in Nelson, Richmond, Motueka or Blenheim prior to any treatment. Here you can discuss any concerns you may have, and we can develop a personal treatment plan that is right for you, your budget, and your lifestyle. I take a detailed medical history from you to make sure any treatment is safe and right for you. Please get in touch, I would love to meet you.

These monthly visits are always something I look forward to.
A chance to reconnect, check in, and support your skin in a way that feels considered and personal.
Some clients come regularly,
others book in when something’s been on their mind for a while.
There’s no right timing — just what feels right for you.
If you’ve been thinking about booking,
this is a good opportunity to find a time that suits while I’m in town.
As always, it’s a relaxed, one-on-one experience —
focused on understanding your skin and supporting it in a natural, thoughtful way.

The eye area is often one of the first places we notice change.
A little more tired.
A little darker.
A little less smooth than it once felt.
This is where a targeted product can make a difference.
ISDIN K-Ox Eyes is one I often recommend for clients looking to support:
✨ Under-eye brightness
✨ Puffiness
✨ Fine lines
It works by combining hydration with ingredients that help improve the appearance of dark circles and overall skin quality around the eyes.
Like all skincare, it’s about consistency — and choosing what’s right for your skin.
✨ Your skin. Your way. With Lacey.

After summer, your skin can feel a little different.
A little drier.
A little more textured.
Not quite as smooth as it once felt.
This is often the time people start wondering:
“Should I be doing something for my skin?”
Two treatments that come up a lot are Profhilo and microneedling — but they actually support quite different skin needs.
Profhilo focuses on hydration and overall skin quality.
Microneedling supports texture and collagen.
It’s not about choosing the “better” option —
it’s about understanding what your skin needs right now.
I’ve shared a new blog that explains this in a simple, clear way if you’ve been feeling unsure where to start.
Turns out… your skin isn’t asking for anything complicated.
Eat well (most of the time).
Sleep when you can.
Be consistent with your skin care.
Repeat.
Not perfect. Just consistent 🤍
✨ Your skin. Your way. With Lacey.

This is something people often think about long before they say it out loud.
Am I too early?
Have I left it too late?
Should I be doing something by now?
There isn’t a “right” age to start anything.
There’s only what feels appropriate for you — your skin, your comfort level, your stage of life.
For some people, that means refining skincare.
For others, it means exploring subtle, supportive options.
And sometimes it simply means reassurance that you’re doing just fine.
If this question has crossed your mind recently, feel free to send me a message. I’m always happy to chat and point you in the right direction.

This is probably the most important question.
And it’s always okay to ask it.
The goal isn’t to look different.
It’s to feel comfortable in your own skin.
When decisions are made thoughtfully — with proper assessment and realistic expectations — the outcome should still feel like you.
Just rejuvenated.
Not overdone.
Not unfamiliar.
If something doesn’t feel natural, it isn’t the right approach.

One of the things you don’t see in photos is the thinking behind the treatment.
Every face has different structure.
Different movement.
Different balance.
Understanding anatomy isn’t something flashy — but it shapes every decision.
That’s why assessment always comes first.
It’s never about following trends.
It’s about working with what’s already there.

Sometimes what looks like oiliness is actually dehydration.
When skin lacks water, it can overcompensate — which may show up as shine, tightness, or sensitivity.
Understanding the difference can change how you care for your skin.
Healthy skin usually starts with the basics.

Hyaluronic acid isn’t about “plumping.”
It’s about water balance.
When skin feels tight, reactive, or looks shiny by midday, it’s often lacking water — not oil.
That’s where a well-formulated hyaluronic concentrate can help.
It supports surface hydration and comfort, especially when your barrier needs a little extra care.
Before we ever talk about advanced treatments, I always look at the basics first.
Because healthy skin starts with foundation.

A lot of people tell me they’ve been researching online for months before they book in.
Comparing.
Saving posts.
Wondering what might work for them.
But skin isn’t one-size-fits-all.
A consultation isn’t about selling a treatment.
It’s about understanding your skin, your history, your goals — and sometimes deciding that the right answer is simply time or better skincare.
Good decisions feel informed. Not rushed.
That’s why they start here.

Skin doesn’t suddenly “age.” It evolves.
Over time, things naturally shift.
Hydration can decrease.
Collagen production slows.
Your barrier changes.
Hormones, lifestyle and sun exposure all play their part.
None of this is something to fear. It’s simply something to understand.
When you understand what’s happening beneath the surface, you can support your skin in ways that feel balanced and appropriate for you.
Healthy skin isn’t about reversing time.
It’s about adapting your care thoughtfully as your skin changes.
If you’d like to explore what your skin needs right now, consultations are always personalised and considered.

A treatment using Botulinum Toxin, or Botox®, can reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, giving the face an overall relaxed and rejuvenated look.
Botox® balances muscles action that can help prevent and reverse the signs of aging. It can be used to hide the gum during a full smile, can give the brow a lift, and when correctly administered can stop the corners of the mouth from pulling down and reducing the common ‘sad’ appearance of the lips.
It is also used to soften the appearance of fine lines. Lasts around 3-4 months.
