Hi, I’m Lacey and I have been working in health care for over 20 years, with many of those years working with pediatric patients and their families. In 2015 I moved to cosmetic medicine, attending national training events hosted by both doctors and nurses. Gaining experience in varying techniques for safe and effective product placement. After finishing my Bachelor in Health Science, I completed a post-graduate certification in advanced nursing assessment whilst working at Waikato hospital. I have worked in pediatric nursing for 10 years and after having 2 children I decided to specialise in appearance medicine. I have attended numerous training courses for laser skin rejuvenation, anti-wrinkle treatments, dermal fillers, and collagen biostimulators. I have completed my accreditation with CANN (cosmetic appearance nurses network), and keep up to date with professional development, attending conferences nationally. A treatment using Botulinum Toxin, or Botox®, can reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, giving the face an overall relaxed and rejuvenated look.
Botox® balances muscles action that can help prevent and reverse the signs of aging. It can be used to hide the gum during a full smile, can give the brow a lift, and when correctly administered can stop the corners of the mouth from pulling down and reducing the common ‘sad’ appearance of the lips.
It is also used to soften the appearance of fine lines. Lasts around 3-4 months.

Dermal Fillers can remove deep lines and help sculpture the face – stopping the clock and rewinding the process of aging.
Hyaluronic Acid Filler, which is a well-known and trusted building block for the skin and tissue. It also gives great hydration and can be dissolved if required. Other fillers such as Calcium cannot be as easily dissolved.

Cautions: people with neuro-muscular transmission disorders, presence of infection at site of injection, pregnancy and lactation.
