A special moment for our team today as we send the wonderful Anna-Marie off on parental leave. 👶

Anna-Marie is one of those people who instantly makes others feel comfortable. She’s friendly, kind and always thinks about things from our customers’ perspective to make sure they get the support they need.

That care is something our customers notice straight away, and it’s a big part of what makes Anna-Marie such a valued member of our team.

From Auckland Hospital to leading Capes Medical Supplies, Ginene Scott’s career has always been grounded in service.

Raised in West Auckland and a long-time volunteer with Muriwai Beach Surf Life Saving Club, Ginene was drawn to roles where you show up when it matters most. She trained as a nurse and built her career in neurosurgical ICU and PACU, eventually becoming a Charge Nurse in one of the most high-pressure clinical environments.

After balancing shift work with life as a solo mum, she moved into medical sales, spending nearly two decades in surgical consumables and infection prevention before joining our team.

Today, she brings that frontline experience into every decision she makes — championing fair pricing, clinically proven products and dependable supply for healthcare professionals and veterinarians across Aotearoa.

Ginene is also building a formidable team here at Capes. She backs our people, encourages accountability, and supports them to grow into roles they’re proud of. She is tenacious in her pursuit of better outcomes and kind in her leadership.

We’re incredibly grateful for the leadership, heart, and determination Ginene brings to Capes every day. Thank you for being such an important part of our team and for leading with purpose. 💚
