Happy 2026 friends!

Eternally optimistic that this coming year will be better than the last - but then again I thought that last new year, and the one before that, and the one before that, and… okay, never mind - let’s just say “fingers crossed” take a deep breath and hold on tight! 🤞🏻🎢😉

Let’s be honest the past few years have been a bit of a 💩show - so here’s hoping 2026 got the memo that we’re very much overdue a ‘Happy’ New Year!

It’s that time of year again… Time to start sparing a thought for all those in our lives cursed by the misfortune of a late December or early January birthday… 🎂🎄

When I made this card I honestly thought it might just be a little too niche - but it turns out this has ended up being my very best selling ‘Christmas’ card! 💌

Happy birthday to my beautiful little-big girl, Eden! ❤️🥳🎂🌸🌿

I can’t believe it’s been seven whole years since you arrived to complete our family! 🫶🏻 We are so unbelievably lucky to call you ours my sweet, sassy, kind, funny, fearless and horse obsessed girl! 🐎🦄🐴🎠

I know I’ve shared this video before - but it will forever and always be one of my most treasured moments so I decided it deserved another spot on the grid on the eve of little miss turning 7. 🥹

Seriously. SEVEN?! 🤯

So glad I miraculously had the foresight to record footage of the very first time Lucca met and fell in love with Eden just hours old... It totally melts my heart how curious and sweet he is with her - although without a doubt my favourite bit is at the end of the clip when he announces he’s “DONE! Bubba” and attempts to push her off his lap!! 🤣😝 [🔈:sound on]

These past few years have gone way too fast for me – although Eden clearly has this whole “stop and smell the flowers” thing sorted. [makes mental note 💬]

As the wise Ferris Bueller once said:
“Life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.”

Couldn’t resist a cheeky last minute repost of my submission for the .coil limited edition cover competition before entries close any minute now!

Throwback to this time four years ago when I was busy creating my very first range of wrapping paper – testing and deciding on the size, scale and colours of each design ahead of launching Paper & Ash.

Back then it really was just paper… and Ash. My home printer was working overtime printing countless trial samples, while Ash was working ‘under time’ – you know – handling quality control by ensuring every sample sheet was perfectly suitable for sitting on. 😆

I can happily confirm each was given her tick of approval with a confident: “10/10 can recommend.” 🐈‍⬛✔️
