There's been numerous studies, that have debunked the negative "re**er madness" theories; as well as the United Nations coming out & saying that Cannabis is NO longer considered a dangerous drug.
And yet the NZ Government, still refuse to recognise ALL this evidence & continue criminalising users of the plant.
This should NOT be happening in 2025

I’m on the Mighty every day — that’s my go-to, clean, simple, and it actually works.
But every now and then, when something proper lands in my hands, like that skunk from London, I’m rolling one up.
Not because I ‘have to’. Not because I ‘shouldn’t vape’.
Just because choice is part of being a patient.

If the Mighty hits best most days, that’s what I use.
If a joint feels right for a one-off treat, that’s my call.
That’s how medication SHOULD work — the patient chooses the method that helps them the most.

Nobody should be policed, judged, or restricted over HOW they take the same plant they’re legally prescribed.
V**e it. Roll it. Cook it.
It’s medicine — and the method is the patient’s choice, not the law’s.

To understand why New Zealand continues to live in a draconian rule of cannabis prohibition, we need to know and understand what the "Vested Interests" are that our biggest activists claim to be the reason why things will never change here.

Over a period of time I will be sharing stories relating back to who enforced the bullshet and why.

Today's focus is on this idiot. Harry J Anslinger.

Old mate Harry here was one of the main components of why cannabis prohibition has existed in most countries over the past 80 years

Anslinger was an American government official for 32 years who zealously advocated for and pursued harsh drug penalties, in particular regarding cannabis.

As a propagandist for the war on drugs, he focused on demonizing racial and immigrant groups, this still exists today in NZ with our justice system statistics indicating that Maori were over half the prison population incarcerated for drugs.

Harry died in November 1975, a month after cannabis was added to The Misuse of Drugs Act 1975 here in NZ.

NZ still enforces this bullshet act 50 years after its conception

Anslinger's position of power and his continual hatred of Cannabis enforced its prohibition despite recommendation from The American Medical Association which 29 of 30 pharmacists and drug industry representatives objected to his proposals to ban cannabis.

One such statement claimed that the proposal was "Absolute rot.

As head of the Federal Bureau of Narcotics, his position allowed him to spread misinformation and propaganda in the 1930's that still psychologically affects the decision makers in this day and age of making the right choices dispite its crazy origins.

Anslingers most famous words that has kept us in the stoneage of prohibition are

"Ma*****na is a short cut to the insane asylum.

Smoke ma*****na ci******es for a month and what was once your brain will be nothing but a storehouse of horrid specters.

Hasheesh makes a murderer who kills for the love of killing out of the mildest mannered man who ever laughed at the idea that any habit could ever get him."
