Since yesterday, the rain is back, along with deep grief, some old patterns coming back with their lot of fear at night.. Shadows and addictions knocking at the door... and the urge to clear, aiming for the light. There is no doubt about it, the Sun has moved into Scorpio yesterday!

✨️🧚‍♀️🌿🌸 Back to flow time! 🌸🌿🧚‍♀️✨️
Today felt like the very first day of actual Spring!!! All I wanted to do was to bathe in the stunning fragrances and.... to make flower crowns... so I did!
Hop hop hop i'm gone with my basket on the flower track following my nose, and back i am with an overflowing bunch of sensual aromas. Just for the sake of having fun and for taking part of nature's celebration of Love! Full heart medicine! 🌸 i tell you, it is quite a healing in itself to wear the flower crown!! 🌸

Such is the vibe of this Libra month.

🌿🔥✨️Happy Full Moon in Aries! ✨️🔥🌿
I'm back in the Southern hemisphere, and i have made it passed the Solar eclipse's embrace and the Spring Equinox. Phew!

After all the cleansing, this Full Moon in Aries brings a lot of renewal energy, a bright spark, and powerful agency to move forward! A wonderful momentum that lifts up the moods and gives a bit of direction. If I understand well the currents of this month, we better enjoy these next few days under the influence of Aries, because we will soon be back into the feminine and artistic flow of Libra until the end of this cycle. So here is to a Full Moon time, proper kiwi style, "to.get.things.done."!!

Simultaneously, Mercury is moving into Scorpio the day of the Full Moon, joining Mars there. This is a good time to express the deep, the unsaid, clear conversations that cut through the mondane, birth the unknown and expose hidden subjects. This is not to declare war though, but rather to make peace with our fears. To invite our demons to the table and make them our allies. Mars in Scorpio says the art of peace and harmony is to befriend our enemies - common enemies being a person, an illness, an ailment or an emotion. Pouring love into what destroys us, from the inside.

The plant coming strong for this Full Moon in Aries is the Tōtara tree. Chief standing tall, Tōtara brings such a powerful medicine to support our bold actions. She says, you've got all the mighty help of your ancestors in your veins, and now is the time to birth projects into life. Uncover the uncomfortable truths, and be at peace within. Gemini New Moon & Karamū

Since a few days, there seems to be a lightness in the air. All of a sudden, we are not so much aware of our bodies, we forget to eat or we are not hungry. We find ourselves engaging with long and happy conversations. Welcome to Gemini season!

In the wild, Karamū is welcoming me into the bush, and reminding me of a few things we can do to best receive these wonderful Gemini energies.

Karamū is one of these native shrubs found in most forests of NZ. With her bright green leaves growing opposite two by two, she is a beautiful one to understand the medicine of the other. That other people are complementary mirrors to us and not the enemy.

Her fleshy orange berries hold two seeds, like Coffee and Cacao. Indeed she is from the same family, and her berries bring a sharp focus in the mind and a surge of innocent creative energies. She gifts us with pure joy and childlike playfulness!

Brewing her leaves in a tea gives a mild anti-inflammatory effect, easing tensions at the end of the day. Very useful in times of fasting, to lighten the body to the soul.

In ancient times, it is said she was a naming tree, helping people to channel their soul's name, or the name of new born babies.

Karamū also reminds me that when my mind gets super active and I am indoors, my thoughts bounce to the corners of my square walls and come back, and I get overwhelmed going round in circle with thoughts and ideas. She says, once every now and then, just get outside and let yourself be under the sky. My thoughts then have the space to connect with the cosmos and keep me aligned with life here and now. Simple as that.

*Summer festivals*

Coming back home after Sauna fest, I'm reflecting back on this summer and sending gratitude out wide...

What a summer! We've teamed up with my dear friend Maya from Persephone's Potions, and toured a score of 6 festivals, in the South and North Island of New Zealand.

With our wild potions, ranging from herbal tea blends, massage oils, herbal balms, smudge sticks, tinctures, elixirs and botanical perfumes, made from the plants we organically grow and harvest in the wild, I can tell you, we brought a lot of laughter, joy, home coming and self-care to many people. It was so beautiful to see the faces relax, closing their eyes, remembering their own relationship with the plants.

I very much treasured connecting with like-minded people, and see how our stall transformed at times into some witches reunion, sharing recipes, stories, memories of the old. At times it'd be a full-on first aid tent, at times a busy apothecary, a herb drying structure, at times a party hub, at times a soothing spot to rest and nap.

Of the six festivals, I will remember...
- Lunasa for the best sleeps, nested in a native beech forest on top of a crystal mountain. The frosty mornings. The epic dances of my own country with the never ending bal trad music.
- Hakea for the best composting toilets ever on Earth, like a five star hotel bathroom, clean, silent, no smell, comfortable & warm AND entirely composting back to soil. That, and the magical storytelling night under the full lunar eclipse in Virgo.
- Spirit Fest South Island for the incredible closing ceremony with Porangi from Turtle Island, living and creating music all together as a whole.
- Spirit Fest North Island for the best financial income in a long time, and meeting inspiring people.
- Earth Beat for the workshop I held with Keith, sharing our love for Plants and Stars & a journey with ceremonial Rose tea and Venus
- Sauna Fest for the rejuvenating sweats and cold plunges into Blue lake

🌿💧*Water and Breath*💧🌿

I was just reflecting on this incredibly massive surge of water pouring from the sky onto the Earth...

Water that cleanses, and water that makes us alive. Water that brings us oxygen and love. I can almost feel the earth breathing out a deep sigh of relief...

I was just thinking that many aquatic plants are good for our lungs, and for the respiratory tract. After all, the first breath started under water. The first breath of bacterias and plants in the sea. The first breath of babies in the womb. The breath of the trees through the mycelium network on a damp day.

I'm soo excited to explore the many aspects of the respiratory tract and the vast wisdom of the mycelium network in my next retreat, called Breathing Forests, at Mana Retreat on 6-8th May! 🌿🌊✨

Herbal steaming & sauna, gemmotherapy, ceremony with mycelium, and medicine making will be on the menu, along with wild herbal medicine walks, herbal medicine preparations and gentle breathing.

🌿✨🍂 Autumn Retreat 🍂✨🌿

Ahhhh Autumn... finally the time has come to celebrate the warm crimson sunsets, eating ripe fruits coming in abundance from the garden and melting under the sweet sunkissed berries. ❤

Autumn is my favorite of the seasons. Because I often need reasons and a little help to come home. It is an inward motion, coming inside with arms full of gifts, rich food, rich social gatherings, rich conversations. A time to honor the temple of our body, our heart & hearth. And to start processing, gathering all the material to integrate the learnings of the summer. To compost.

Autumn is THE time for mushrooms. Their vivid network starts awakening with the first heavy rains and cold chills. They start to fruit at the surface of the Earth, offering their special skills of connection and transmutation to the forests, and to us.

In this landscape, I am soo thrilled to be holding a Herbal Medicine retreat at Mana Retreat on the 6-8th of May called Breathing Forests. ✨🌿💚

In this retreat, we will welcome the medicine of Autumn in its full spectrum. We will relax and settle in the luxury of our utterly comfortable facilities. We will then venture on the pristine land, indulge in forest bathing and meet with plants of the respiratory tract, the reproductive system, the immunity, blood cleansing etc and... with mycelium medicine!

I am deeply honored to have MaYanya join us and hold a ceremony with Pakaiahi, the wetlands polypore, a highly medicinal mushroom known as "the Soul of the Forest". ✨❤*Equinoxe and Venus*❤✨

I'm deeply honored and excited for this autumn equinoxe period we are entering, and for the depths of clearing it is presenting to us.

This year, the Venus cazimi, when Venus passes between the Sun and the Earth, will be happening right during the equinoxe. A super potent time to burn away what no longer serves in our relationships and in our relation to love in general.

As always, I turn towards the plants. Rose is the one who rises strongly with this gorgeous cosmic event. Rose gently carries us through times of initiations, the blossoming and the fruiting of ourselves. She offers a safe cushion in times of deep shifts.

In about a week, the second part of my Grand Plant Tour starts with a magical small scale festival called Hakea Gathering. 🌅✨

Nested in a heart-centered off-grid community based on permaculture, and surrounded by native bush, this event is a fabulous way to celebrate co-creation, acquiring new skills, joyfully boogie & meet like-minded people.

I'll be offering a wild herbal medicine walk, as well as holding a stall of herbal potions with my best partner in crime potions 🌿💚✨
