Yesterday I had the absolute pleasure of taking the sauna trailer out to Lake Okataina for a Māori Women in Business retreat.
The setting was honestly breathtaking.
The calmness of the lake, the bush surrounding us, and the beautiful wāhine there created the most peaceful and powerful atmosphere.

It was such a special experience.

We’ve added a little extra touch inside the sauna 🥰

You’ll see our new book + hat shelf on the wall. I’ve popped a few little mindfulness books up there, just something simple for people to flick through while they’re warming up, just gentle reminders to slow down, breathe and be present.

You’ll also see the sauna hats hanging there. These are our demo ones so you can try them out during your session, and if you love them we’ve got brand-new ones for $15, or $30 for a hat + mat combo.

A lot of people don’t realise how helpful sauna hats actually are:

– they stop your head from overheating
– they help you last longer in the heat without feeling dizzy
– they protect your hair from drying out
– and they help your body regulate better so the whole session feels way more comfortable

I get migraines quite often, and honestly since using a hat I haven’t had a single one in the sauna it makes such a difference.

Just a small little upgrade to make the space feel even more cosy and intentional. 🩵🔥
