What an incredible day for our Pink Ribbon event💕

We're still feeling so grateful for the love, generosity, and support shown by our amazing community. To everyone who attended, donated, shared kind words, bought raffle tickets, helped behind the scenes, or simply showed up to support such an important cause - thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Thanks to your generosity, we were able to raise an amazing $1,053.70 today, bringing our total Pink Ribbon donations to $2,311.70💕

Seeing everyone come together to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer support and research was truly special. Every conversation, every laugh, every donation and every bit of pink made a difference.

A huge thank you to everyone who contributed their time, effort, prizes, baking, set up, and energy to help make the event such a success. We couldn't have done it without you all.

A big thank you to Tonic Cafe who generously let us use their space as well as provided free coffees for everyone and Property Brokers Pahiatua and Post Office Hotel for providing the food. Also to Sweet Thingz for providing extra sweets💕

Together, were helping support women and families affected by breast cancer, and that means everything💕

Today we celebrate the women, non-binary people, and trans mothers who nurture, protect, guide, and love — in all the ways motherhood exists.

To the mums with babies in their arms, and the mums carrying their children in their hearts.
To the mothers who are grieving, longing, healing, or remembering.
To the stepmums who chose love every single day.
To the grandmothers raising their grandchildren with endless strength and care.
To the foster mums, adoptive mums, bonus mums, and mother figures who show up with unconditional love.
To the non-binary and trans parents who embody motherhood in their own beautiful and valid way.

Whether your child is beside you, far away, grown up, or no longer with us — your love matters, your motherhood matters, and you are seen today.

This year Tararua Midwives aim to donate $750. Thus far we are proud to be over half way to our goal with over one week to go until we host our first ever annual Pink Ribbon Brunch.

I'm fundraising for Breast Cancer Foundation NZ, to help fund breast cancer education, research and patient support. Please donate to help the 3,700 Kiwis diagnosed with breast cancer each year in NZ.
