Today is International Nurses Day and to celebrate the incredible nurses at Ambridge Rose, we had a shared lunch at The Manor, to recognise our team who take care of our residents with such grace, compassion and care. 💜

We are incredibly lucky to count so many wonderful nurses among our staff and we wouldn’t be able to deliver the high quality of care we do without them. So much of the work they do isn’t visible, and we are truly thankful for each and every one. 👩‍⚕️🧑‍⚕️

Last week, residents and staff across all Ambridge Rose facilities came together to celebrate Mother’s Day 💐

Residents enjoyed a special morning tea and a range of activities. At The Villa, our residents were treated to a gorgeous beauty session - complete with hair styling, soothing hand massages and manicures. A little pampering, a whole lot of love 💅✨

A heartfelt thank you to our wonderful staff who made the week so memorable. The smiles said it all ❤️

You were the most caring person - always there with open arms and a gentle word. Not a day goes by that we don't think of you.

This Anzac Day, staff and residents across all Ambridge Rose facilities paused to reflect, remember, and honour the courage of those who served - and those who continue to serve - so that we may live in freedom.

We were privileged to welcome Barry Dreyer, President of RSA Howick, who led a moving and meaningful service for us at The Manor. His presence made the occasion truly special, bringing a sense of solemnity and gratitude to our community.

Together, we remembered the sacrifices made - past and present - and gave thanks for the freedoms we hold dear.

Celebrating the hearts behind our care 💜

On Tuesday at Ambridge Rose, we had the joy of presenting our incredible team members with their new service lapel pins, honouring 5, 10, 15, and 20 years of dedication to our residents and to each other.

These pins symbolise the gentle hands, warm smiles, and quiet moments of compassion that never make the headlines but mean everything to our residents and their families.

To every team member who received a pin today, and to every single person who walks through our doors each shift, you are the soul of Ambridge Rose. Our residents are in safe, loving hands because of you and we thank you all for your dedication, compassion and service.

And a very special acknowledgement to Allan (Owner/CEO) and Doreen (Nurse Manager, The Villa) for receiving their 20 year pins – a true testament to your dedication.

Easter services were held, followed by creative arts and crafts sessions. And of course, no Easter is complete without Easter eggs and hot cross buns 🍫

Seeing the smiles, the laughter and the sense of community across all our facilities is what it’s all about 🩷

It was wonderful to see such a great turnout for the New Zealand National Party Pakuranga Superblues, an event proudly sponsored by Ambridge Rose.

It was a great opportunity for residents in our neighbourhood to stay engaged, informed and involved, hearing from Chris Penk MP and Simeon Brown MP about what’s happening nationally that may impact our East Auckland community.

At , we believe that "family caring for yours" extends far beyond our doors and into the heart of our community. That’s why we are so incredibly proud to sponsor Youth Project NZ. 🌟

This partnership is particularly special because it’s built on growing community connections. Our Sales and Marketing Manager, Angela, has been close friends with Claire and Ann from Youth Project NZ for the past two years, and seeing their shared passion for community come to life through this project has been truly inspiring.

We’ve experienced the joy these interactions bring and our team and residents have had the privilege of receiving the thoughtful gifts made by students from local schools.

This week, staff at The Manor were privileged to receive ‘community hero hearts’ made by students at Sunnyhills School. Thank you so much from all of us at Ambridge Rose.
