Whaioro Trust shared an awesome day connecting with whānau at Shannon Hauora Day last weekend :).

Here is a snapshot of the day — plenty of smiles, kōrero, and whānau enjoying time together.

Ngā mihi nui to all the whānau who came by the Whaioro Trust stall to connect with the team, learn more about what we do, and join in the fun activities.

It was great to be alongside so many organisations and services supporting our community.

Congratulations to the winners of the prizes - we hope you enjoy them 🙂

💚 While mental health investment has grown, more people are struggling than ever before. Government investment in treatment services alone will never meet demand. It's time for Aotearoa to prioritise mental health and addiction prevention – before more generations suffer.

Denise Kingi-'Ulu'ave reflects on why it's time to shift resources beyond treatment and why urgent prevention action is the missing piece in Aotearoa's mental health response.

💚 Rāmere — Keeping the Mauri Alive | Me Kori Tonu 💚

This week we’ve been celebrating Mental Health Awareness Week and the 5 Ways to Wellbeing.
Today we’re keeping the mauri alive by sharing another moment from Rāapa — Me Kori Tonu | Be Active. 🌿

On Wednesday, Shannon, Becky, and Cayla led a Waka Waka Just Dance challenge, and some of our rōpū Aroha ki te Tāngata jumped straight into the challenge and the mauri flowed! 💚

It was a beautiful reminder that movement connects us — lifting our wairua and strengthening mauri ora.

📹 Check out the video below and feel the wairua, e te whānau!

💚 Mental Health Awareness Week continues! 💚

Our He Papa Mauri Ora – Mauri Ora Wall is filling up beautifully, whānau — each kōrero, photo, and reflection adds to the mauri flowing through our space. 🌿

Even though the week is wrapping up, Mental Health Awareness continues every day.
There’s still time to share a photo or reflection of what you’re doing to fill your cup or feed your mauri over the weekend. 💚

All shared kōrero and contributions will go in the draw on Monday, whānau — let’s fill this wall and keep the mauri flowing whānau!
