Puāwai Nature Therapy Creativity nourishes our Wairua, it helps us understand, express and value our identity.

Facilitating the reconnection between people and the te Taiao; to uphold, guard, and protect the Mana, Wairua, Mauri and Tapu of all things we are connected to, as part of a whole system in the natural world Puāwai Ecotherapy

Puawai is an intuitive and creative approach that leads to personal growth and the activation of creative potential; by being conscious and attuned to our ancestral intellig

ence and inner wisdom. Grounded in the concept of hononga (connections); Puawai explores the intrinsic relationships between people, Wairua, and Te Taiao; the magic and interconnectedness of everything around us in the natural world, understanding and nurturing our essence through the power of nature, creativity and storytelling. Throughout the Puawai sessions we nourish our creativity by exploring ways we practice self-care, nurture our worth, protect our mauri, and vision for our future. We do this in a variety of ways including journal making, connecting back to Te Taiao (The natural world), Rongoa Maori (ancestral healing wisdom), and by exploring poetry & art. An approach that results in long term holistic health benefits, supporting us to become grounded in our innate mana and Tapu

Through connecting to Te Taiao; Puawai creates a space to listen to our ancestral wisdom, and identify our own sources of healing. Bringing forth and supporting the indescribable light that exists within each of us

Autumn 🍂 ‘A woman may crave to be near water, or be belly down, her face in the earth, smelling the wild smell. She might have to drive into the wind. She may have to plant something, pull things out of the ground or put them into the ground. She may have to knead and bake, rapt in dough up to her elbows. She may have to trek into the hills, leaping from rock to rock trying out her voice against the mountain. She may need hours of starry nights where the stars are like face powder spilt on a black marble floor. She may feel she will die if she doesn’t dance naked in a thunderstorm, sit in perfect silence, return home ink-stained, paint-stained, tear-stained, moon-stained.”

Back to Mahi tomorrow, I've done what was required for a reset and am now replenished. I've been nourished, nurtured, and held by te taiao. I've disposed of time, flowed, played, and centered. This is so essential for my role. I could stay here and bathe in this energy. My heart is radiating. But, my purpose is to serve, im ready to hold space again and share this aroha with the beautiful people in my community. We've got so much work to do.... Hei apopo ✨️🧚‍♀️🌿
