Ive removed the past life signiture of these from people's energy during healings. It's interesting to read the history. Often when people come for a session with a fear of talking or public humiliation, it is a past life trauma with these or something similar.

The Scold’s Bridle, sometimes called a tongue-brake, was a cruel device used in England and Scotland between the 1500s and 1700s. It was an iron cage fitted over the head with a rod forced into the mouth, making it impossible to speak. Some versions even had bells, so anyone wearing it would be humiliated as they walked through public streets.

Mostly, it was used on women accused of being “nagging” or “talking too much” in a strictly patriarchal society—but occasionally, men caught in political intrigue were punished with it too. Its peak use was from the late 16th century to the 18th century. By the 19th century, it had mostly disappeared, though a few examples survive in museums and old prisons.

Today, the Scold’s Bridle stands as a stark reminder of a time when female voices could be literally silenced. You can still see specimens at the Science Museum in London and the National Museum of Scotland—a chilling piece of history showing how far oppression could go.

October has always been a big energy month, but this year's juice is next level.
The 22nd of October is known as 'Spiritual New Year'. It is the day when the coming years' energy starts to be felt. In this year's case- the 2025 (9) energy that brings massive completion and potential for unconditional love and community, will start to mix with the new beginnings and fresh hope of the 2026 (10)vibe.
October always brings a big shift in the experiences that present themselves. However, because the 9 energy (2+0+2+5=9) this time is the culmination of everything we have learnt and experienced over the last nine years. And the last nine years have been..... fairly full on... Our journey to process the last nine years and leave them in the past is kind of a big deal.
This has led me down the rabbit hole of figuring out why this 9 year is stronger than 2016 and 2007, which, for me at least, were both horrible years but not as intense energetically.
The short answer is, this October holds a huge potential for soul growth. The energy on this spiritual new year has the potential to heal and clear soul wounds from back to the beginning of time. This could be huge for you.
However, it is a choice. The guardians have made it clear that you can choose how much you embrace the change. You are the creator of your own reality.
So? Will you experience this only on a physical level- perhaps only allowing it to give you a mild reassessment of your life choices? Or.... Are you ready for the total body, heart, mind, and Soul restore, elevate and recreate that is on offer?
