Come be with midwives at 9.45-10.45am outside the high court at 2 Molesworth St, Wellington. Stand with midwives in solidarity of the service we provide, make some noise with us, bring the family. We need recognition of the importance, skill and commitment of midwives to safe birth and promotion of health. Today is National Safe Sleep Day - Te Rā Mokopuna.

A day to raise awareness about Sudden Unexpected Death in Infants (SUDI), with the aim of reducing the rate at which it occurs in Aotearoa New Zealand families and communities.

SUDI is preventable, and the risk factors for our pēpi can be significantly reduced should the rights steps be implemented.
