Biology was one of my best subjects in school. That and Accounting, so I went down the Accounting route. Even though Accounting brought home the bacon, it did not bring home joy and fulfilment. Thatβs when I started my journey into the world of Health and Wellness.
In 2007 I started my studies with a course in Naturopathy in London. My plan was to specialise in Homeopathy, but life had other plans for me. In 2012 I stumbled across Reflexology and fell in love! Today I am a Reflexology New Zealand registered Reflexologist although I have studied Therapeutic Reflexology in South Africa under Inge Dougans.
I specialise in Vacuflex Treatment, Meridian Treatment and Therapeutic Foot Reflexology.
My aim is to help your body relax so it can start healing itself.
I am located in my home-based studio in Camborne, Porirua. If you have any questions please just ask, or you can book your treatments directly through this page.

What is Reflexology?
Specific reflex areas on the feet correspond to specific organs, glands and other areas of the body. Reflexologists apply pressure to these reflex areas on the feet which sends messages to the corresponding areas in the body to adjust the stress level. Reflexology thereby helps to release stress and positively influences all the systems in the body assisting the body to heal itself.
Reflexology also restores the vital energy throughout the body promoting health. Stress causes the vital energy to get congested which can lead to disease.
During a treatment the Reflexologist collects personal details in order to do a proper assessment of the clientβs health. These details are used to gauge progress and remain confidential.
Depending on the clientβs circumstances (constitution, history and nature of disease or injury, age, way of live, bodyβs ability to react to treatment and attitude) a treatment course of 8-12 treatments practiced once or twice a week should be sufficient. In general, βolderβ conditions will take longer to respond to the treatments than recently inflicted diseases or injuries.
Reflexes might be sensitive or painful which indicate some kind of congestion in energy, disease or illness in the anatomical areas in the body represented through these reflexes.
A Reflexologist cannot diagnose a condition, will never treat a specific condition or prescribe or adjust medication, cannot cure or heal a condition and only assists the body in healing itself.
