📈 550+ new players, managers, coaches and club volunteers in 2023

📹 60,000+ views on games live-streamed by DONS Entertainment and Atiawa Toa Fm

👸🏽 20% increase in female players, managers, coaches and club volunteers across all grades

🏠 Senior Mens Finals were played at Rugby League Park for the first time since 2005

A massive effort from our community as a whole and a sign of great things to come in 2024

Throughout 2023 we have tried our best to support all our Porirua teams and thanks to Wgtn Rugby League we have been given the go ahead to run it back for the GRAND FINALS this Saturday at Rugby League Park 🔥🔥🔥

We are back for the season finale of the Local Derby, as we etch one step closer to the grand final. The maroon green and gold Vikings host the red V Dragons to see who will be representing Porirua at the big dance. We’ll be going live same place, same time so get your favourite hot drink and super wines ready. It’s gonna be one for the ages. Good luck to all the brothers playing on Saturday. It is Men’s Health Week!!
The Dons Entertainment crew have spoken to some of the local Porirua league talents to get heartfelt reflections on their mental health. Shoutout to the brothers who gave up their time to speak on such a tough topic.

Mental health is just as important as physical health, especially when participating in physically demanding sports like rugby league. It's great to see a growing awareness of men's health issues in the league community.

Over the next couple of days, you will hear from some of our Porirua boys about their mental health and coping mechanisms to stay on top of it.
