We are voluntarily and travel to visit residents and patients in Rest-homes and Hospitals and Hospice..

We had some lovely visitors today at the farm….Peter has cancer and has farmed all his life and grown up with horses…..he has limited time left and it seemed the perfect thing to do was hand him the lead rope and leave them together to just be at peace….and they were…..special horse still has his compassionate old soul within him…. 💜💙

Hello everyone it’s been awhile since we posted anything….
We have moved to a lovely lifestyle property and finally I have my wonderful horse outside my window which has always been a childhood dream of mine….
I have had to think so hard about this and it hasn’t been an easy decision. Tyson and I will no longer be doing our visits and I’m sad but it’s the right thing for me and for him…..after losing my own beautiful Mum to MND I found it extremely difficult to put on a brave face and visit the rest homes and hospitals and the residents and patients…it would bring back so much grief and heart ache of Mum that when I left the premises I was emotionally shattered and Tyson could feel this too…I would like to thank each and everyone of you for your support and love for Tyson and myself over the years on this amazing journey and we will be enjoying our time off on the beach or trail riding in the hills…I love this horse so much and will be forever proud of what he was able to give to others. From local newspapers to Horse and Pony Magazine and a story on Seven Sharp he became world famous and it’s been and honor and a privilege to work alongside him….we will post the odd pic and story on here of the rest of our journey together….
Enjoy this trip down memory lane maybe through tears like I have…

This is the sound of an equine therapist happily plodding to work…there is also a pic of a lovely gentlemen Doug with tears of joy on being able to touch a horse again…a man that spent years mustering the hills and living and breathing the farm life and turning wood….He cried when he saw Tyson and he held his rope and just cried. Really hard to watch and I asked him if he was ok and he said yes. I’m happy because you have brought back memories of the best days of my life 🤎 through my own tears today I was able to give someone something they have missed and think about every day as they sit in their room waiting for family or a friend or just a simple conversation….my morning has been about filling someone else’s cup and sharing a horse that senses every tear and emotion he receives…until you see it it’s hard to understand what loneliness is 🌻🤎

We entered our first western show and we had so much fun….we even came home with ribbons and lovely prizes….how great is...
