Another event on my race hit-list ticked off ✅

This has BEEN A JOURNEY. Of learning, failing, f*cking it up. But also of getting back up again, continuing to work, do better, and get better, anyway ❤️‍🔥

I am proud of myself for doing this, I’m grateful for everyone who has helped me to do this* because I couldn’t have done it without so THANK YOU (you know who you are 🫶🏼), and I’m SO inspired by ALL who raced alongside me that day 🥹⚡️😍 🏁

I’m already looking forward to taking on my next event, tacking the next challenges, and finding even more wins again soon 🎉

But for now, I think this one is big enough for me, to let myself celebrate it for a while 🥹🏅🤩💖🌼✨

Special thanks to for getting me to that finish line. You have been more than a coach for me; you’ve been a friend, colleague, and an inspiration. Thank you for all your wise words and hilarious one-liners. You have helped make this experience, what someone would call the worst, just the best❣️

A winter wonderland is the only way I can describe this place 🤩❄️✨

It kept one hiker coming back every 7 years and I know it’ll keep me coming back (hopefully more often than that) too!

From sitting in a cafe to zipping down a wire I guess you can see how I struggle to sit still… 😂

I am a firm believer that play 🧸 doesn’t stop in your childhood - it just begins ✨ - and so it seems I’ll continue to find my playgrounds 🛝 in adulthood which, at the moment, appears to be at many different heights ⛰️

I’ll see you on top of the next one 🪂✈️🌤️

So I did a thing 😮
A big thing 🫣
A 134m thing… 😱

Bungee jumping something I’ve always wanted to do. It’s on my bucket list I guess you could say. But when I found that there was a risk for me to do it (due to my eyesight 🤓) I didn’t know if it’d be possible for me to.

In the words of my optometrist who told me, “if you’re going to do it, do it now!”

So that’s exactly what I did.

A month later I free fell for 8.4 seconds. It went by so fast I wanted to do it again! I wanted that feeling to last longer. Indescribable!

But now I’m onto the next checkbox to tick on my bucket list ✅

Any ideas? 💭

I think everyone has to go here at LEAST once in their life.

I find it hard to describe the beauty that is in Milford Sound. Because not only do you see it. You also feel it.

I’m not someone to reread or rewatch this but I definitely will be someone who keeps coming back here (in fact I already have 🤭☺️) and if I didn’t already know it was possible, I do now; it gets better every time ✨

I can now say every road trip includes not only a MUST-STOP at Lake Takapō but also a MUST-SWIM here too 🤩

I think the images speak for themselves but if it’s not speaking to you, let these be the words you hear:

This is your sign to do it, even when no one else is doing it.

The business proposal 👩‍💼, call to an old friend 📞, asking someone out on a date 📅, or holiday plans ✈️…

Others may let fear hold them back. But don’t let it hold you back.

Get uncomfortable, push boundaries, take opportunities.

There isn’t a right moment. There is just now and what you decide to do with it ✨
