We glorify hustle so much that people forget your body actually needs time to recover, repair, and recharge.

Muscle is built during recovery — not just during the workout.

So no… resting isn’t being “lazy.”

Sometimes the most productive thing you can do is slow down for a minute.

The hardest part of a fitness journey isn’t always the workouts…

It’s learning how to exist in a changing body.

Your old clothes fit differently.
Your comfort zone changes.
Your confidence changes.

I would NEVER usually wear a fitted top like this… but I’m trying to stop dressing for the body I used to have — or the one I’m still trying to get.

So here’s me trying something different 🫣

Tonight’s session was all about showing up, moving our bodies, and feeling STRONG 💪✨

These amazing wahine put in the work with a full-body high-rep repeater—and I couldn’t be prouder 🥹

We worked through:
• Bicep curls & tricep dips
• Bulgarian lunges & hamstring curls
• Arnold press & single-arm rows
• Fire hydrants (with wall + foam roller 🔥) & single-leg quad extensions
• B-stance weighted lunges & squats with pulses
• Kettlebell hip thrusts & squat to shoulder press
• Lateral raises & front raises
• Crunches & double leg lifts

It wasn’t about being perfect…

It was about showing up, pushing through, and supporting each other every step of the way 💚

Strong bodies. Strong Minds. Strong Women.

Last night’s charcoal BBQ family dinner = today’s delicious lunch 😋🔥

When you’re a solo parent balancing rent and a mortgage while waiting for your house to sell, you learn how to stretch your dollars without missing out on the good stuff ❤️

Last night I treated my family (and had my parents over) to steak and veggies on the BBQ — simple, wholesome, and so worth it.

💰 $50 steak
🥦 $10 veggies
🔥 $5 charcoal

That fed 6 dinners and 3 lunches…
👉 $8.12 per serve

Today was meant to be a “sit behind the computer and smash out invoices” kinda day…

Until the boss walked in and said:
“Perfect day for flying. Invoices can wait. Meet me at the airfield in 10.” ✈️

Ummm… who am I to say no to that? 🤔😂

Next minute — I’m up in a Chipmunk, flying over the Waikato like something out of a movie.
Perfect weather, insane views… and then came the fun part 😏

Tight turns.
Fast height drops.
A few acrobatics to “test my nerves”…

Turns out — I LOVED it.
Full belly laughs, adrenaline pumping, that almost out-of-body, free-as-you’ll-ever-feel kinda buzz 🔥

Flew over my houses, my besties’ places in Ngaruawahia, through the Hakarimata ranges… honestly just unreal.

Only regret? My phone died so I didn’t get nearly enough footage 😩

But hey — some moments aren’t meant to be watched back…
they’re meant to be fully lived ❤️✨

Safe to say… best “work day” ever.

I missed my Kitcat so much this week — she was still at my old house with Simon while I got everything set up in my new place.

Picked her up last night, and she made one thing very clear…

She missed me over the week.

Straight onto my pillow, head against mine, paw on my cheek — and any attempt to move was met with gentle claws 🤣

Slightly forced cuddle time… but let’s be honest, I wasn’t going anywhere.

Now she’s knocked out like this, tongue poking out, safe, settled, and right where she belongs on my bed next to me ❤️

You don’t wake up one day suddenly in love with yourself — you build it.
One small step at a time. One choice at a time. One thought at a time✨️

😊With daily practice, self-love isn’t something you chase… it’s something you become.

The shift starts with awareness.
When you begin to notice your inner dialogue, you take your power back.
You get to turn down the negative voice… and turn up the one that backs you, believes in you, and builds you.

And then your environment starts to matter more.

Pour into what lifts you:
good people, real connection, movement, nature, animals, whole foods, sunrises, sunsets, clean water, music that hits your soul, breathwork…

And slowly — without force — start letting go of what drains you:
negative energy, negative people, alcohol, constant news, mindless scrolling, over-processed food, fizzy drinks, staying stuck, staying small…

You don’t have to overhaul your whole life overnight.
Just shift a little more toward what feels good… every single day.

Because the more you choose the positive…
the lighter your life feels,
the clearer your mind becomes,
and the stronger you stand in who you are.

New home. New studio. New level 🔥

This weekends big move wasn’t just about changing locations… it was about stepping out of my comfort zone and backing myself.

Because the truth is — nothing changes if nothing changes.
Growth doesn’t happen where it’s comfortable… it happens when you take the risk, trust the process, and take the action needed.

That’s where the magic is ✨

This space I’ve created isn’t just a studio gym.
It’s an environment. A vibration. A standard.

Who you surround yourself with matters.
What you show up to each day matters.
The energy you allow into your life matters.

And I’m choosing to build all of that intentionally.

To my friends and family — thank you for showing up, once again to help me move. The lifting, the shifting, the support… I don’t take it for granted, and I love you all, I am so blessed for every single one of you. ❤️

This is more than a new studio.
It’s a new chapter. A new mindset. A new level. I am ready to shine my light bright, to be a beacon for others to catch a spark and shine alongside me ✨️
