💪 Gains 101: Fueling Your Progress with Protein

Protein isn’t just about building muscle—it’s key to repairing, remodeling, and supporting your body’s adaptation to exercise. But how do you make it work for you? Let’s break it down:

✨ The Basics:

How much?
-Aim for 1.2–2.0 g/kg/day, depending on your goals and activity level.

-Post-workout magic: Consume 0.25–0.3 g/kg (15–25 g) of high-quality protein within 2 hours after exercise for optimal recovery.

-Spread it out: Balance your intake across meals for better results.

✨ Real-Life Example: Meet Sally!

Goal: Build muscle 💪
Target: 1.5 g/kg protein/day = 105 g
Success: No supplements, just balanced meals (and a vegetarian dinner!)

Here’s Sally’s day:
🍳 Breakfast: Cereal, protein yogurt, milk, flat white = 31 g
🥗 Lunch: Tuna, rice, veggies = 40 g
🍜 Dinner: Tofu, edamame, egg noodles = 35 g
✅ Total = 106 g protein
