💡 : Guessing is a gamble. Just ask! 🩺🤷‍♀️

Ever assumed what a colleague meant in a handover, only to realize later you weren’t on the same page at all? We’ve all been there!

In the clinic, asking a quick question isn't a sign you don't know your stuff—it’s a sign you actually care about getting it right. True professionals don't guess; they clarify.

How to ask without feeling awkward:
✅ “Just want to make sure I’ve got this exactly right, did you mean...?”
✅ “Just double-checking to ensure we’re on the same page with this plan...”

Taking 10 seconds to clarify builds massive trust with your team and keeps your patient care flawless. Win-win! 🏆

The Golden Rule: When in doubt, just ask (nicely!).

Meet the driving force behind Ligament: our Founder and Director, Amy Cram! ✨

After living and working across Australia and the UK, Amy returned home to New Zealand with a vision. She successfully built and now operates LigamentNZ, LigamentLearning and Physio Direct, a thriving practice spanning 10 rural clinics across the Central North Island.

It was through this firsthand experience that Amy saw a massive gap in the industry. She knew exactly how challenging it could be for clinics to find the right staff, and for clinicians to find roles that truly matched their passions and lifestyles. In late 2019, Ligament was born to solve exactly that.

As an experienced physiotherapist herself, Amy’s mission is simple: to support clinics and empower clinicians, ensuring our community continues to receive top-tier care. 💼🤝

We are so proud to be led by someone with such deep industry roots, a massive heart for helping others, and a serious love for the Kiwi outdoors! 🌟🏔️

🩺✨ Ego checks are free. Clinical mistakes are expensive.

Let’s be honest: the moment we think we’ve figured it all out is the moment we stop growing.

In clinical practice, a growth mindset is your ultimate superpower. Approaching your work with humility and a healthy appetite for feedback isn't a sign of weakness—it’s how good clinicians become great ones.

Why stay teachable?
🌱 Free Coaching: Constructive feedback is just a free masterclass. Take it!
🧠 Keep Learning: The best "experts" are just students who never stopped asking "why?"
🤝 Better Care: When you are open to adjusting your technique, your patients win.

Keep your mind open and your head humble! 😉

💡 : Master Your Professional Brand ✍️
In the world of Allied Health, your clinical skills get you the job, but your professionalism builds your reputation.

Whether you’re emailing a new clinic owner, drafting a cover letter, or sending a quick follow-up, the way you write is your digital handshake. While we love a friendly chat, keeping your professional correspondence clear and free of slang is essential.

Why it matters:
✅ Credibility: Polished writing signals that you are detail-oriented and reliable.
✅ Trust: It shows respect for the recipient’s time and expertise.
✅ Clarity: Professional language ensures your clinical goals aren't "lost in translation."

✨ Proofread for the Win: A quick double-check for typos shows you have the same attention to detail in your admin as you do in your clinical practice.

🧐 The Interview Rule: If you wouldn't say it to a clinic owner's face in an interview, don't put it in an email.

Ready to put your best foot forward?
We help our candidates with more than just placements—we support your entire professional journey.

Calling all our USA-based clinicians! 🩺🌏 US ✈️ NZ

Are you thinking about trading the fast-paced "sprints" for a taste of the Kiwi "Slow Travel" lifestyle? We know many of you are curious about how locum life in New Zealand compares to what you’re used to back home. 🩺

Both paths offer incredible growth, but the day-to-day rhythm in Aotearoa has its own unique feel:

🛠️ Clinical Variety: While the USA allows for deep specialization, NZ roles embrace a versatile, autonomous generalist approach—perfect for expanding your clinical toolkit.
🤝 Simple Systems: Swap complex insurance billing for the streamlined, universally accessible ACC system.
🥾 The 3-Month Minimum: In NZ, placements are usually 3-6 months+, giving you real time to immerse yourself in the local community (and find all the best hidden gems!).

Whether you’re ready for a change of pace or just a new adventure, LigamentNZ is here to hold your hand through the entire transition.
