From number 1 plates to off-track antics, the season is only just starting to heat up for the XC crew as the 2026 WHOOP UCI Mountain Bike World Series continues for the Giant Factory Off-Road Team in Nové Město na Moravě 🇨🇿

That’s a wrap on Nové Město na Moravě, and keeps the leader’s plate after a strong P7 XCO performance 💪

The technical layout of the longstanding course and the stacked field made it a busy day between the tape, but the crew came through with a series of solid finishes. Behind Dario, put in a top twenty performance, crossing the line in a solid P17. found himself a bit further back in P34, still a solid day with over 102 racers on the start line.

The XC athletes see a couple of weeks’ break, now looking towards Round 3 in Leogang in mid-June 🇦🇹

The Giant Factory Off-Road Team rider delivered a breakthrough performance, winning his first-ever Elite men’s World Cup race in Mona Yongpyong 🏆

Racing in extreme conditions at a brand-new venue in Mona Yongpyong, Dario Lillo powered to a dominant solo victory on a course that heavy rain had transformed into a muddy, highly technical test. Wearing the all-new Rev Pro helmet and riding his Anthem Advanced SL bike with a Giant XCR WheelSystem, the Swiss rider attacked early and never looked back.
