40 years on... still feeling better, Naturally!

​Naturo Pharm started 40 years ago as part of Bill Usher’s pharmacy in Rotorua and has become a trusted, recognised natural health brand in New Zealand. The Naturo Pharm focus is on producing a quality range of homoeopathic remedies and herbal topicals that are easy-to-use, cost effective and available in most health food stores and retail pharmacies in New Zealand. Apart from manufacturing and supplying quality products, we have been listening to our loyal customers’ feedback over the years and based on this have been rather busy! This is what we’ve been up to:

In 2016 we refreshed the brands over-all look, but still retained the iconic yellow daisy. At the same time we released our all-natural grapeseed oil cream base and optimised the strength of our Arnica topical products. In 2017 we released our long-awaited Pet-Med range of products, focused on common conditions seen in pets - available in a natural alcohol-free glycerine base. At the start of 2018 we added an alcohol-free option to our well-known baby range of complexes, available in the same natural glycerine base. Further to this we have recently changed our gel base, improving it’s consistency and making it all-natural. Due to popular demand, we have now proudly launched our newest product, Sleepmed Relief. Preparing for Birth Naturally with Homoeopathy

Many women look for gentle, supportive ways to prepare their bodies for labour during the final weeks of pregnancy. In homoeopathic practice, specific remedies have traditionally been used to support the body’s natural readiness for birth.
A homoeopathic combination of remedies has also been studied using a double-blind methodology, and results suggested shorter labour duration and improved efficiency of uterine contractions compared with placebo (study available on request).
Our PRE-BIRTH formulation uses this same combination of remedies.
Key remedies and their traditional indications:
• Caulophyllum – Traditionally used to progress labour and for exhaustion during labour.
• Cimicifuga – Traditionally considered when tension, fear, or sensitivity accompany labour preparation.
• Arnica – Known for its traditional use in supporting recovery and soreness associated with physical exertion.
• Pulsatilla – Support for changeable or irregular contractions and emotional sensitivity.
• Gelsemium – Traditionally used for support for exhaustion and trembling or when sluggish progress is present during labour preparation.

Homoeopathy focuses on supporting the body’s natural processes, aiming to encourage balance and readiness as birth approaches.
