Hey everyone! My name is Meg and I am a trained Social Worker, Counsellor and local mum with over 5 years experience working with families. I am hoping to take on a few individual or family clients into my brand new practice as I come off maternity leave. I’d love to share a list of the services I offer for under 18 years old and their families:
-Traditional social work and counselling for under-18’s
-Support through exploration of ADHD and Autism diagnostic testing
-Hollistic, Non-clinical support for ADHD, Autism (or suspected)
-Lego Therapy
-Counselling with therapeutic art
-LGBTQIA+ gender and sexuality support
-Issues with friendship or peers
-Navigation and support for other professional referrals
-Family goal setting/parenting
-Support through challenges with anger, anxiety, sadness and depression
This post is a chance for me to understand the needs of our local whanau and community, as well as taking enquires for therapeutic work. We are based in Southbridge, but can travel to your child's school or local community space for a small travel fee.
