Passed away suddenly while house painting, on Tuesday 13th January 2026, aged 69 years.
Loved son of the late Austin and Eileen, and brother and brother-in-law of Graham (dec) and
Mary, Bruce and Sue, and Heather and Ewen. Long-time partner of Te Atarangi and a loved
and special father figure to Jared and Leah. Loved brother-in-law of George (dec) and Elaine
(dec), Hune (dec) and Doreen, Roena, Susie, Danny (dec) and Jillian, Paenoa, John and
Diane, Betty (dec), and Tim, Sharon and Nita. Loved uncle to his nieces and nephews, and
great nieces and nephews. Messages to the family c/- 61 Titoki Street, Lansdowne,

With Kevin having large circles of friends a celebration of his life will be held in both
Palmerston North and Taihape .
The Palmerston North service will be held at Lychway Funeral Home, 5 Roy Street
Palmerston North on Thursday 22 January 2026 at 1pm. This service will be livestreamed

The Taihape service will be held at St Mary’s Catholic Church, Huia Street Taihape on
Friday 23 January 2026 at 1pm followed by interment in the Taihape Cemetery. This service

Passed away peacefully at Broadview Hospital Whanganui, on Tuesday 6th January 2026 aged 91 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Jim Flynn. A loving Mum of John, and Glenis . A loved Nana of Tama, Barbara-lee, the late Joseph Flynn, Olivia, and Isabel. A great Nana and a great great Nana. Special thanks to Broadview Resthome and Hospital for their love and support during Barbara's stay.
