At Fiber Fresh, putting horses first has always been at the heart of what we do. Working alongside breeders across the country, we see the dedication, care, and responsibility that goes into raising and managing horses every day. The commitment shown by breeders and their teams is something we genuinely admire and respect.

As a sponsor of the New Zealand Thoroughbred Breeders’ Association, we’re pleased to stand behind this set of guidelines, which provide a clear, practical reference for good welfare practice throughout a horse’s life — from those earliest days through to later years. The document reinforces the strong foundation already in place across the breeding community and supports thoughtful, consistent decision-making.

What we particularly value is the way these guidelines acknowledge that good welfare is built on experience, knowledge, and sound judgement, rather than rigid rules. That approach reflects the reality of working with horses and the trust placed in the people who care for them.
The New Zealand breeding industry has a lot to be proud of. Initiatives like this help safeguard horse wellbeing, support the people involved, and strengthen confidence in our industry as a whole.

What a day at Takapoto! 🌟🐎

Huge congratulations to Fiber Fresh family members and .causer.nz on an incredible World Cup day — with Sophie taking the win 🏆 and Makenzie finishing a strong 4th against world-class competition.

An outstanding effort in the series too, with Sophie 2nd overall and Makenzie close behind in 3rd — fantastic results from both riders.

Both horses are fuelled by Fiber Fresh — a key part of how we support horses to stay strong, and healthy while jumping at this elite level. Quality fiber, gut support, and consistent energy help horses feel their best, so riders can perform with confidence 💚

And a big congratulations to everyone who competed at this elite level — performances like these showcase the dedication, horsemanship, and talent across the field.

As we welcome a new year, we want to take a moment to acknowledge what truly made the last 12 months so special — our incredible customers and clients.
This year was a big one for Fiber Fresh, with plenty of highs and valuable learnings along the way. Through it all, the support, trust, and loyalty of the people we work with every day made all the difference. We’re fortunate to have such a strong, supportive customer base and amazing clients who challenge us, grow with us, and believe in what we do.
