Please be advised that on 24th, 25th, 26th March, Pathlab Western Bay of Plenty / Tauranga region collection facilities will OPEN during to industrial strike action - except for Microbiology of some urines, all faeces, all sputum, all swabs, all seminal fluid & all fungal scraping specimens which will not be able to be tested. Please check our website for room open/close status.

Pathlab collection facility closures...

APEX has informed us of industrial strike action of its members on Wednesday 5th and Friday 7th February, with a full withdrawal of labour for 24 hours on both days, coinciding with Waitangi Day on 6th February. This will result in a three-day period where our services will be significantly reduced or unavailable. Please ensure to check the LOCATIONS page on our website to check the open/close status of our collection rooms.

Tauranga/Western BOP collection rooms will be OPEN.

Tristram St, Hamilton will be OPEN 8am - 5pm for URGENT testing only on 5th and 7th February. All other Hamilton/Waikato, Rotorua & Taupo, Whakatane/Eastern BOP rooms will be CLOSED.

Location: Pathlab Bay Of Plenty, Tauranga
Job Type: Casual
Hours: 8:30 am to 10.00 pm (6 – 9 hr shifts)

As a Pathlab courier, you will be responsible for efficiently collecting samples from our medical facilities and delivering to the laboratory. You will be required to engage in both local and long distant driving.
No two days will be the same.
Driving a company car is a requirement for this role.
Requirements for this role:
• A clean and current NZ driver’s license
• A confident driver in all environments
• Fit and active – as manual handling will be required
• Casual / On Call, flexibility with days and times, able to work weekends, public holidays, and outside of business hours
• Basic computer skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Can work autonomously and/or as part of a team
• Eligible to work in New Zealand

Mt Maunganui RE-OPENING!!! We are wrapped to finally be able to re-open our Mt Maunganui collection facility - 7.00am, Tuesday 6th June. Hours will be 7.00am - 5.00pm Mon - Fri. Thanks again for the patience and understanding around the challenges we've had with staffing - like us, we're sure you too are pleased we're finally at the other end of that.
