Both spending time on your yoga mat and wine tasting can help you become more mindful. Just as we tune into the physical sensations, activity of the mind, and breath during our practice, we observe and notice the taste, flavor and feel of wine when we take a sip, attention and awareness given to the present moment. So come sip, flow, and share a laugh or two!
This event includes a 60 minute mindful vinyasa flow class suitable for any level of practitioner, 2 glasses of wine and light nibbles. Prices below.

This weekend was no exception with people joining us from the North, South, East and West of Aotearoa and afar. Every retreat has a special lesson and as the power cut out right as we were about to serve dinner on Saturday night, I knew exactly what this weekends lesson was.. You can't control everything around you but you can control how you react. Fortunately, our team are exceptionally adept at "going with the flow" and after some short-lived panic, some quick decisions were made and a candlelit dinner was served to our very hungry guests. And just as our eyes started to adjust and the food started to disappear the power came back on. A lesson of impermanence. If the light goes out, learn to thrive in the dark. And when the light comes back on, which it will eventually, that which we managed in the dark we now master in the light. 🌟☀️🌙

The best thing about deciding to run yoga and wellness retreats as a career is the inspiring people I've met along the way. Conscious and passionate people who care about learning how to look after yourself physically, mentally and spiritually just as much as I do and who want to help share that knowledge in any way that they can. I've made many close friends from each retreat that have me thinking "WHERE THE HELL HAVE YOU BEEN ALL MY LIFE" on the regular. 😂 Here is the thing. Your people are out there. If you feel alone or isolated, bullied or harassed, if you feel like a weirdo or a misfit and misunderstood, just take a moment to think about what brings you joy. And go do more of that. And keep doing it. And soon enough, no matter how socially awkward you think you might be, you will start to find your tribe 💕

On Dec 1st we are proud to be at NZ Yoga Day 2018 helping to raise funds and awareness for the Key To Life Charitable Trust - a community peer support group, aiming to forever change the way New Zealanders think, act and feel about mental health and suicide.

I know that putting the time and money aside for a weekend retreat can seem like a luxury. But instead try to consider it as an investment.
Without working on ourselves and improving ourselves every day, it would be unrealistic for us to expect a much different future from the one we have right now, it would also be unrealistic for us to perform better in the future, because we will be no different tomorrow from the person we are today.
That is why YOU are the most important thing you can place your time and money on.
An investment in yourself is a great example of self-love, and may very well be the most profitable investment you will ever make.
When you are bold enough to take steps that will improve your performance and overall well-being, the universe will respond by granting you amazing results.
The effort you put into consistently investing in yourself will also play a large role in determining the quality of your life now and in the future.

Tammy and Aaliyah have been coming to my yoga classes for nearly two years and were invited along to the last retreat as volunteers.
We have a much bigger group of guests joining us this November than we have ever had before and this means we will need more help. If you are in the wellness industry or have worked in hospitality or customer service and you would love to attend a yoga retreat but maybe can't afford it just yet or are on a budget, then volunteering may be for you.

I often find it hard to articulate the right words to express my gratitude after our retreat weekends. None of this would be possible without the help from the people who believe in what we are doing and choose to be a part of it. None of it could happen without the guests who make a conscious choice to allow themselves space for growth and who are brave enough to travel inward and do the work. I saw some real transformations this weekend, in both the guests and the staff and you should all be so proud of what you have achieved. I certainly am 🙏❤️🙌
