Very excited to announce… I will be continuing my Breathwork class on Tuesday nights :))

Can feel myself getting more and more comfortable in my teaching style… I loved last nights restorative breath class. Thank you all so so much for coming along. It really means a lot to me..

Exciting news…. Tomorrow I’ll be teaching the 7:15AM Dynamic class at O-Studio

Hopefully some of you can make it! It will be a short but powerful practice.. I want to focus on finding balance, both physically and mentally, and finding comfort and ease in some of the more challenging postures.

This week we’re exploring POSTURE in our Breathwork class (on Tuesday night).

Poor posture can negatively impact our breathing and in turn, poor breathing patterns negatively impact our posture.

Tuesday night’s class will be a mix of breathing exercises (pranayama) and restorative yoga postures (asana) to open the chest, relax the shoulders and to extend and deepen our breath, using our diaphragm.

Tomorrow marks the official beginning of my Breathwork classes in Christchurch.

7:15PM at the Mt Pleasant Community Centre.

This weeks focus is:
- chest opening
- shoulder release
- lengthening and deepening the breath
We will work with restorative poses and movement to complement and enhance the breathwork.

‘Breathwork’ is unfamiliar territory for a lot of us.

So when concepts like ‘releasing the psoas’ or ‘regulate the nervous system,’ are thrown around, not everyone knows what we’re talking about.

I’ll be sharing more posts that delve into these subjects a little more in the next few weeks. But if you’re intrigued or can relate to some of the issues that breathwork can help with, please reach out with any specific questions.

And.. take a look at my Breathe Course that starts at the end of July.
This is a deep dive into the world of breathwork that runs across six weeks. We will practice together every week. You have access to content to practice at home, along with journalling exercises. As part of the course, you will get a dreamy goodie bag, course book, so you can refer back to everything we learn, a Breathe Journal and a chance to be part of an amazing community.

For now, I’ve answered a few common questions about breathwork:
