Walking into the sauna for the first time? It’s like opening the door to a giant warm hug. 🤗🔥 heheh

Take a seat, breathe, let the heat do the work. An opputnirny to just be!

Stay as long as it feels good (10–15 mins is plenty), then step out and cool down.
The magic is in the rhythm: hot → cold → rest → repeat. Yeow! 😄

We definitely get a lot of 'you must be crazy' and admittedly it is a little bit...

However, Its one of the best parts of a sauna session right? Jumping into the ocean between rounds 🌊 😁

Switching between heat and cold helps boost circulation, reduce inflammation, support your immune system, and release endorphins.

Basically: it feels epic and it’s good for you.

We are changing our booking system 🙂

Thanks all for your feedback and support!

We're happy to announce that our booking system is changing 🗓️

We've listened to your feedback and have been searching for the right one. We're stoked to finally have found it -

Rest assured that if you have an existing concession card, your remaining value will be transferred to the new system.

This new system resolves many of our existing issues and will apply to all of our locations: Mount Maunganui, Waihi, Gisborne, and coming soon to be Kapiti Coast and Hawkes Bay.

We will go live on Wednesday, so jump on then to familiarise yourself with the process. Please reach out here if you have any questions, and we'll do our best to get back to you ASAP

The crew at The Sauna Project is making their way to Splore 2024! Whoop whoop. 😄

This one is close to home. Splore means a lot to us at The Sauna Project. Since our first visit five years ago, we have attended every single year. This will be the first year attending with the saunas 😆

Splore is a place to have fun with friends meet other great people and really let the hair down. The experiences we've had at Splore are quite indescribable but if we had to sum it up in one word, that word would be 'transformational.'

Going to Splore with our saunas is an absolute honour. Bringing the heat to is going to be a lot of fun.

You'll find us down by Crystal Palace, right next to the lagoon for a refreshing dip after being in the heat.

Tickets tend to sell out quickly, but I believe there are still some available if you head over to the Splore website.

Hey there, Sauna fam! We are on the lookout for a new sauna location, and we need your help!

Do you know of a spot here in Tairāwhiti that would be the ideal location to park the Sauna? 🙌🏽

Ideally, the new location will have:
- a mean view for the sauna window to look out at 🌅
- adequate parking 🚗
- easy access to cold plunge or ice bath 🌊💦❄️
- bonus: water source for shower 🚿
