Do you know how Tuuhono got their name? And the meaning 🌀? We realise English vs. māori vowels are prounonce different when saying Tuuhono.. so we encourage the hype that practice makes perfect!

Maaori names are a precious example of a significance occurance, kaupapa, memory, person or moment in time.. 
The importance of saying Maaori names correctly should be at the top of all clinical settings. Make your ingoa a priority

There have been three confirmed cases of measles in Wairarapa, linked to overseas travel.

Measles can spread quickly, especially among pēpi, tamariki, and kaumātua. But don’t worry - there are simple steps we can take to protect our whānau.

🛡️ What you can do:

✅ Check if you and your tamariki are up-to-date with MMR immunisations (it's not too late to catch up if you need to!)
✅ If you feel māuiui, call your usual healthcare provider or Healthline first (you can ask Healthline for a Māori clinician)
✅ Stay home if you're sick
✅ Share this kōrero with your whānau and hapori.

The MMR vaccine is free and offers strong protection.
