Some beautiful mushrooms around at the moment, this one was a cool wee find. An inkcap, I'm just waiting now to see what the colour is like once it dissolves. (Not sure if dissolves is the right word.) Coprinopsis lagopus is the scientific name. I'm having a lot of fun learning about fungi at the moment.

Absolutely stunning bunch of flowers from Tinui school. We had a great day today, learning about rongoā, te whare tapa wha, tuna, biogas, solar power, identification, taste, colour, feel, smell, fire setting/lighting, cooked a kai (sausages on bread)/cuppa kawakawa tea/marshmallows (of course). Went for a swim in the Ruamahanga and a wee go at river crossing. Kids came away knowing a few plants (can name koromiko easy as), what they are good for and how to identify and take it! Tinui school you all rock and you fullas have the diarrhea sussed! More pics to follow cos I forgot to pick up my ph cos I was having too much fun.
