Due to a planned power outage in the village we will be closed all day Friday 10th June. The Doctors Waimauku and The Doctors Huapai will both remain open and be able to assist patients. Thank you for your understanding.

Family doctors are calling for calm from stressed patients demanding free rapid antigen tests, with one Auckland medical centre being forced to suspend testing completely, citing abuse against staff and queue jumping.

Pop these dates in your calendar or make a phone reminder. You can also visit the permanent brand new purpose built clinic in Maki Street Northwest its lovely, so quick and easy, in and out very fast, and kind staff. Please phone 09 411 8094 for advice. Your call is answered by a registered nurse who will triage and if required the nurse will then call the local duty doctor. There are additional fees for out of hours consultations and home visits.

If you have a medical emergency, call 111.

During the Christmas and New Year holiday period:

The Doctors Waimauku and The Doctors Huapai are open Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm, EXCEPT public holidays.

The Doctors Silver Fern is closed from 25 December 2021 to 10 January 2022.
All services for The Doctors Silver Fern will be provided from The Doctors Waimauku or The Doctors Huapai. This includes prescriptions and medical visits.

With extra work from Covid the practices are much busier than they have been in previous years' lead up to Christmas. Please allow as much time as possible when booking an appointment as at the moment, it is likely we may not be able to provide you with a same day appointment.

To keep everyone safe, and healthy during the festive season, our team will ask you if you have any cough, cold or flu-like symptoms when you contact us to make an appointment and visit the clinic. Please be honest so we can manage your symptoms appropriately.
