Passed away peacefully Sunday 31st August 2025, 81 years. Much loved father, grandfather, uncle, brother and friend to many.

On behalf of the Muller family we invite all family and friends as we celebrate the life of uncle Fred. Details are as follows:

Tonight, Thursday 4th September:
Family service at Tipene Funerals 24 Hill Street, Onehunga. 7pm - 9pm

Friday 5th September:
Final family service at Tipene Funerals 24 Hill Street, Onehunga 7pm - 10pm.

Saturday 6th September:
Funeral service - St Anthony's Catholic Church, Mangere Bridge, 10am with light refreshments to follow at Tipene Funerals 24 Hill Street, Onehunga, 12pm. After which a burial service will be held at Waikaraka Cemetery at 2pm.

Fa’afetai Kainiu (née Afualo)

"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith." — 2 Timothy 4:7

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Fa’afetai Kainiu (née Afualo), who departed this life surrounded by her cherished aiga on 19 August 2025.

Tai was the treasured only daughter of Afualo Aeau Opapo Afualo and the late Pasia Afualo, a devoted wife to Afualo Kainiu, and a deeply loved mother to Aaliyah, Aanyah, Maliq, Qeileb, and Isaiah.

A woman of unwavering strength and grace, Tai courageously battled cancer with dignity and faith. Her legacy lives on through her beautiful twin daughters and the countless lives she touched as a sister, friend, and pillar of love in her community.

Tai will lie in state at 103 Holly Street, Avondale, Auckland from Friday 22nd August 2025.

Service Details:
Tai loved colours, come dressed with your best colours as we celebrate our beautiful Tai.

· Family Service: Saturday, 23rd August 2025, 5pm at Glen Eden Methodist Church
· Funeral Service: Monday, 25th August 2025, 10am at Glen Eden Methodist Church

It is with a heavy heart that we inform you of the passing of our beloved Mum and Mama Riperata (Rita) Topia on Sunday 17th August.

For those that want to pay their respect, Mum will be lying in state this evening at our whānau home 274 East Tamaki Road, Otara.

On Wednesday 20th Aug at 10.00am we will hold a funeral service to say our last words before closing of the casket. From there we will make our journey to Mangere Lawn Cemetery for Cremation at 12.30pm.

To celebrate Mum’s life we will end with a hākari back at the whānau home in East Tamaki.

It is with deep sadness and reverence that the Sauvao ‘āiga and extended families announce the peaceful passing of our dear beloved Matriarch, le afioga iā Le’autulī’īlagī Taotua Malaetā Fa’asapisapi Sauvao who departed this life surrounded by her devoted husband, children and grandchildren on the 9th of August at the age of 81.

Le'autulī'īlagī was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunty, mentor, and friend. Her wisdom, warmth, and unwavering spirit touched countless lives. A woman of profound influence and unwavering dedication. Her life was a tapestry woven with threads of cultural pride, educational advocacy, and spiritual leadership. She served her community & church with humility and strength, leaving behind a legacy that will continue to inspire generations.

Le’autulī’īlagī will be lying in state at the Elim Christian Centre Church in Porirua,
11 Heriot Drive, Elsdon from Tuesday 12th August 2025. Visitation hours on Tuesday will be from 3:00pm-5:00pm and 7:00pm-9:00pm. Wednesday will be open to all family & friends.

Family Service: Thursday 14 August 2025 at 5pm PIPC Porirua, Champion St, Porirua.

Funeral Service: Friday 15 August 2025 at 9am, PIPC Porirua, Champion St, Porirua.

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our dearest Pepe Leleisi’uao (nee. Malaki), who peacefully passed away surrounded by her husband and children on the 28th July 2025.

Pepe will return today to lay in state at her home address of 16 Ventura St, Mangere at 2:00pm.

Monday 21 July 2025 - 3pm whānau pani arrive at Wehi Wehi Marae with Denis.

Tuesday 22 July 2025 - whānau and friends are welcome to pay their respects at any time.

Wednesday 23 July 2025 - 10am service for Denis will be held at Wehi Wehi Marae.

Following the service the whānau will take Denis to be privately cremated in Levin.

We appreciate all the love and support surrounding us at this time, especially his youngest daughter, Te Arai.

A Tipene Funerals Porirua notice on behalf of the Avei, Iosefo and Ulu aiga.

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Christopher Mathew Ulu – who peacefully passed away on Sunday 13 July, 2025.

Chris is survived by his partner Victoria and his children Xaviour, Grace and Honor.

Thank you all so much for the love and support over the past few days — it’s meant the world to our family as we come to terms with the loss of our beloved Chris.

We’d like to share the details for those who wish to join us in honouring his life:

We, the whānau, will be departing Hoani Waititi Marae at 8:00am, Saturday 28th June, with our beloved Takutai. We will be travelling to Manurewa Marae, arriving at approximately 9:00am, to allow her people of Manurewa time to mourn with their whaea.

From there, we will depart at 11:00am and make our way to Ōpaea Marae, Taihape. Our aim is to arrive in Taihape before 5:00pm, kia kaua tātou e eke i te pō.

It is with great sadness that we mourn the sudden loss of our beloved mother, nana, sister, daughter, aunty, and friend. Takutai spent most of her years giving to others. It is now her time to rest and our time to give back to her, by celebrating her life in the days ahead.

Tonight, our mother will lie at Tipene Funerals, Onehunga branch. We, the whānau, kindly ask for privacy this evening to spend time with our immediate whānau and her Māori Party members only.

Tomorrow morning, Friday 27th June, Takutai will arrive at Hoani Waititi Marae at 8:00am, where she will lie in state for all to come and mourn with us.

On Saturday, we will transfer Mum to Ōpaea Marae, Taihape, to lie in state. A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, 1st July at Ōpaea Marae, followed by a burial service.

Mathew Adams will then take his final journey back home to lay instate at Morehu Marae, Pawarenga.

A Tipene Funerals Porirua notice on behalf of the Vardey family.

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our dearest Adam Vardey who passed away peacefully surrounded by his whanau on 9th June 2025.

A Loving father to Manaia-Rain, Taaniko, Āniwa and Leah. A Loving stepfather to Taylor and Mason.

A Loving Koro to Kawhi, Klay Kobe and Kaisley.

Adam will be lying in state at Maraeroa Marae, Waitangirua, Porirua from today for the duration.

A private Family service will be held on Friday 13th June at 5pm.

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday 14th June at 10am at Maraeroa Marae followed by his burial at Whenua Tapu at 11:30am.
