Fun opportunity from IHC New Zealand a Disco Dance Night open to people with intellectual disabilities (including those with autism) 💜

Circus Quirkus is back in Wellington this May!

We’re excited to share that Mt Victoria Rotary Club is bringing back the Circus Quirkus show a beautiful event created to bring laughter, joy, and fun to families in our community.

This is a wonderful opportunity for children and families to enjoy a magical circus experience together 🎭

✨ My Perspective competition 2026 is now open! 📸

We’re excited to share this opportunity on behalf of our friends at the Down’s Syndrome Association (UK).

My Perspective is an international photography competition for people who have Down syndrome , a beautiful way to show the world through your own eyes 💛

It’s easy to take part! You can use a phone, iPad, or camera — whatever works best for you.

📷 Photo requirements:
• Taken by a person with Down syndrome
• Your own original work
• Colour or black & white
• Highest resolution possible (max 35MB)

🎨 Categories this year:
Food • Seasons • Yellow • Music • Sport • Portrait

🏆 There are prizes for both children (under 16) and adults, including Judges’ Choice and People’s Choice awards — plus special UK and International awards!

This is such a special chance to celebrate creativity, perspective, and storytelling through photography 🌏
