Browns Bay parade today!

Bays in Action and Bays Youth Voice with Neighbourhood Support and Heart of the Bays showcasing all the amazing community collaborations in the Bays, including the Voting Bins initiative that gathered steam at the We Empower Us Summit.

There is a Youth Park consultation happening for Long Bay currently - let's get our ideas included to make it the best it can be!

We Empower Us - A project we can be proud of in the East Coast Bays of Auckland!

- 3 local schools: Principals + Youth Focus Groups
- 800 youth voices determined the top collective priority for youth wellbeing
- 6 key community networks joined the project
- 30 community stakeholders joined the project
- 70+ people participated in the Summit
- 6 cohesive projects came out of the Summit

Summit Day! What a fantastic day with youth and schools and community organisations and networks - all working together to activate the youth priority for wellbeing - Whiria te Tangata: Weaving the People Together for a shared sense of place and belonging for All.

We are ready!

The We Empower Us Summit is tomorrow - we have our collective youth voice and focus groups, schools, community networks, community organisations, local businesses, and local and govt reps.

That's 70 of us coming together to activate the top collective priority for youth wellbeing determined from close to 700 students:

Whiria te Tangata: Weaving the People Together for a shared sense of place and belonging for All.
