Happy Birthday, Shapyher. You are 20 today. Where have the years gone? You are becoming a powerful, independent woman. Your mum would be so proud of your achievements, just like I am. I hope you have an awesome day. Love you to the moon and back xoxo

Last year Disability Support Services (DSS) transferred to the Ministry of Social Development (MSD).

They are launching a community consultation soon (10 Feb) about the essential disability services and supports that people may get after an assessment from a Needs Assessment and Service Coordination organisation or an Enabling Good Lives site.

As part of the consultation, there will be in-person and online workshops across the country which you can register for now. While everyone is welcome to participate, Disability Support Services especially wants to invite people receiving these services, their whānau, carers, and advocates.

For more info including dates and locations, check out the DSS website: https://bit.ly/3EeG6ON
